My friend and I were in Rishikesh for yoga. Yog Niketan by Sanskriti is practically next door to the Iyengar yoga studio but more importantly is that the hotel provides free yoga classes twice a day (morning and evening) on site. The yoga teacher, Apana Rana, was excellent and very competent. Yog Niketan is near Ram Jula but we also took a taxi to Luxman Jula where we integrated in a yoga teacher's class. There is a yoga class or two at every corner. As for the hotel itself it provides a full breakfast and has an on site restaurant with home-made organic meals at a reasonable price. It faces the Gange's and its boardwalk. So that was also convenient.
