When I tell the lads I do Pilates they generally make a smart comment or look at me like I am soft. However, what they may never find out for themselves (but should!) is that Pilates has allowed me to build strength, improve my flexibility, build muscle, reduce pain and generally improve my quality of life. It took me a few months of regular Pilates to really start seeing the results but now I am confident and really enjoy it.
