Khedrubje Kadampa Buddhist Centre

Would recommend anyone struggling psychologically to visit this centre. The Buddhist belief and philosophy I feel is the closest anyone can get for self help. I have attended 95% of the Monday morning classes over the last 4 years, the majority of classes have been led by Gen Kelsang Rigma, and on a personal note she is one of the most inspiring people I have had the pleasure to meet!

What an amazing place! I have been coming here for quite a few years and it simply gets better each time. The people, the teachings, the meditations, the friendliness, the atmosphere is great. You can't help but feel happier and more relaxed with every visit. I urge you to give it a try. You don't need to be Buddhist, you just have to have the wish to be happy and this is where you'll find it.

Please visit the centre in Hull, it is such a lovely, friendly place to relax and find some inner peace. All the teachers are wonderfull. I have been attending the class in Grimsby for nearly 2 years and it has made such a positive and up lifting difference to my life. I was a little sceptical at first as we all are. but Buddhism makes sense in a complicated world.

Very nice place. I'm referring to the house & coffee shop.... ?? Havn't had a chance to sit outside in the (back) garden as I havn't been going very long & the weathers been tooo cold so far,but it should be nice,soon; as the weather gets warmer.... ?? - I've had a few great chats with Yonchong & Laura so far... ?? They have good minds & can talk on many subjects... ?? I am Very ill & Tired,with "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome"/Fibromyalgia (makes you feel like hell).... ?? BUT I like to feel we sort of 'pool' USEFULL information.... ?? - We're 'stuck' here on this earth,so we might as well make the best of it.... ?? Love & luck to the others there... ?? I'm Too Ill to go to the other place at Pocklington,on my own.... ?? I don't go there,now. I need friends who can visit me in my home as I can't always get out........ ??

Amazing place and a lovely teacher in Rigma tranquil relaxing atmosphere feel at peace when the class has finished + great teaching moments ... Budda teachings attempt to save those of us in this 21stC fast paced living may it continue to do so ... so come visit

Khedrubje Centre is a gateway to finding inner peace and is in a really accessible location in Hull with a lovely big garden and space to park off the road. Rigma gives profound teachings, meditations and advice. I always come away feeling calmer and kinder. The after class cafe is great, has good coffee and is a relaxing place to talk to other people.You can meet the people who run the centre there, students who have been coming for years and those who live there too. It is a really welcoming group of people. Thank you! :)

A jewel of peace and beauty in the heart of Hull. Amazing, practical teachings and lovely people from all walks of life! Highly recommend to try out the meditation classes. Helped me learn meditation techniques to reduce stress and develop a more peaceful and positive outlook on life!

I always love the welcoming vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Loads of nice people to meet. Lots of cool courses and activities going on, whatever suits you. If you are looking to find some headspace, or learn to meditate/learn how to be calm with life's challenges, this is the place! Nice coffeeshop too!
