Power Living Yoga - Neutral Bay

What a beautiful place. There is a wide array of teaching talent, with such charismatic & caring people. Power Living offers an extensive schedule of classes and workshops to tap into. It’s a great location with plenty of parking. The space itself has a large yoga studio with natural light, mat storage & lockers, change rooms and showers with complimentary toiletries. There’s a lovely seating area covered in cushions that encourages cups of tea & chats after class.

Dynamic, powerful, thought provoking, stretching, strengthening, sweating, all rounded classes (with a handful of Yin classes for the moments needing slower paced practise ...). Warm, friendly, welcoming.

I did teacher training with Power almost 2 years ago and have spent 200 hours training and completed another 100 classes at NB. I’ve practiced yoga for nearly 10 years and this studio has been my best experience by far. The vast majority of the teachers are excellent, particularly Gina, Marty, Eric, Fiona, Carlee and Hayley. They understand how to cue, assist and keep you safe and motivated. Classes can be busy at peak time but the studio is huge and the showers are never that busy. Highly recommend.

Moving to Sydney, finding a new studio was high on my priority list (by high I mean literally at the top) - Power Living has ticked every yoga box and then some. I’ve never experienced such a thoughtful balance of strong, dynamic asana coupled with gentle, attentive teachers that take the weight out of the physical practice alone and allow you to dive deep into the other seven limbs. A beautiful, modern twist on an ancient practice. Well-played guys!

Power living neutral bay is the best yoga studio I have used. I really like the way the classes are structured and feel that they have been supportive at every point of my yoga learning. Their foundation level 1 sessions which I attended on weekends are great for an introduction to yoga but continue to challenge as you improve, they’re also great to check back into every now and again to spend lots of time stretching and checking your form is correct and the level 2 6am sessions have been amazing for progressing my skills and pushing me that bit further. Yin is a lovely practise when you’ve been pushing yourself a bit more that week or after a busy week. I especially enjoy the live music yin hosted (monthly or fortnightly I believe) on a Friday after work to set myself for a chilled weekend. Thanks power living!

Great studio - spacious, plenty of light and good sightlines to the teacher. Even when it’s busy it doesn’t feel claustrophobic, as is often the case in other spaces. Good range of classes, and every teacher is at the top of their game.

This studio has such an inclusive, accepting and welcoming vibe. I feel good just being there. Love the fact that the mental and emotional side of yoga is incorporated. Have attended a few different instructors' classes and have to single out Simon Ngo. He is a great instructor!

I've been attending this yoga studio from the start, some 13 years ago. It's my sanctuary. The PLAY community is like no other yoga studio and they're affordable too. All levels of yogis practise together which is a wonderful thing; there are no egos here. From the highly experienced and knowledgable teachers (through years of yoga training) to the students, young and not so young, the positive energy when you enter the studio is infectious. Love and light to all teachers and students who attend this beautiful space.

Love the Neutral Bay studio. All the teachers (without exception) are fantastic and the range of classes (Vinyasa, yin, roll & release as well as the workshops) is great. You can truly deepen your practice here. If you’re in the lower north shore then check it out.

I joined Power Living Neutral Bay 3 months ago and now that I'm moving interstate I wish I joined earlier! The staff are committed, friendly and inspiring and have really helped me not only develop my physical practice, but shown me how to really focus and be present in the moment. I've been craving some time dedicated solely to myself and being on the mat at Power Living has let me achieve just that.

I absolutely love the Power Living Neutral Bay studio, the teachers are always happy to see you. Everyone is super open to feedback, and it's always a really enjoyable and relaxing experience. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to practice yoga!

Carlee, Keenan, Solon & Marty are fantastic teachers. It is great that they offer so many teachers so you can find what practices speak to you most! I have learnt so much. The facilities are also nice with a comfortable common area, delicious tea, and clean bathrooms and showers with natural products for your use. Great studio! My only wish is that there were more non-heated L2 classes????
