Best stay in Costa Rica! The views from the relaxing area and the breakfast restaurant are amazing. Javi is an outstanding host, we enjoyed every talk we had. We wished we stayed longer. A real paradise! Do not miss out - highly recommended.

Hotel Buenos Aires was amazing! The owner, Javis, was so accommodating. The hotel is perched up above the busy main road of Santa Teresa with a beautiful view of the ocean. Rooms are newly renovated and immaculately clean. The pool is refreshing and the free breakfast was simple and good with delicious coffee. The access road is a little steep, so I suggest renting an ATV or plan on a taxi at the end of your day.

I can’t say enough about the hosts Javi and his wife! Probably the best hosts out of any hotel I’ve been to. They are so attentive and informative. They respond to all my requests right away no questions asked. The room was super clean and had everything you need. The views are just incredible to wake up to, chill in the hammock and watch or just watch the sunset before going in. Wifi is fast and ac is great. Highly recommend!

My heart lives here! I stayed here for what was meant to be 2 weeks and turned into 3 because I didn’t want to leave. This place is magical. Javi & Flo are the best...cleaning the rooms and changing the towels every day, chatting with guests and just generally being a pleasure to be around. We didn’t want to review this place because we’d like to keep it secret. The views are crazy and I met some amazing people here.

The ocean view here is second to none. It is well priced and up above the dust, noise, smell and traffic of the main road. Landscaping is gorgeous, shaded sitting area is so relaxing. Rooms are very clean with comfortable bed and air conditioning if you need it. Restaurant has an amazing view while you enjoy a complimentary breakfast and pool is refreshing. In my opinion, the beautiful sunset views and hospitality is what makes this place so great. All you hear at night is crickets and the ocean. Florencia and Javier really care about you and want to make sure you enjoy your vacation. I have stayed here 3 times now and I am never disappointed, you will love it.

What a perfect place! I hope I’m lucky enough to return some day. Such a great vibe and clean, comfortable rooms. One of the best views in town and the breakfast was excellent. You’re extremely fortunate if you get to stay here. The owners treat you like family.

Really lovely hotel. The view is amazing. It is really quiet and breezy, a nice break from the Main Street. The owners are excellent hosts, very friendly. The room was clean, lots of space. We basically had the pool to ourselves most days. It is up a very big hill, but this is actually a good thing, as it makes you feel justified in ordering the yuca fries every night, like you earned it. Highly recommend this place!

Everything you need for a simple, nice stay in Playa Carmen - amazing views, nice hosts, sparkling clean rooms, quiet and secluded, yet in the middle of everything. The host made our beds every morning and changed the towels. Make sure you ask for a room with AC, it’s a little extra, but definitely worth the price. The rooms are good size, with a sliding glass door that lets you enjoy the view from your bed :-) Good breakfast with coffee and freshly squeezed juice, and few healthy and hearty options. One of the best yoga studios in the area is just down the street, and you should definitely check it out if you like yoga. There are plenty of restaurant options in the area and a supermarket just down the street. If you don’t have a car or ATV, it’s QUITE the hike to get up there, but once you’re there it’s worth it! One of the most memorable places I've ever been. Javier and staff are second to none. They really make you feel at home and are so laid back. The view from the rooms and the restaurant are spectacular. Easy walk down to the beach to swim or surf. Will be back one day...

Javier was a wonderful host to us during our stay at his hotel! He was easy to communicate with over email to book our stay and greeted us when we arrived. He gave us helpful information about the area and things to do. The hotel is located on top of a hill overlooking Playa Carmen. The view is incredible and the hotel is clean and has the essentials needed for your stay. The restaurant that is associated with the hotel, Brisas Del Mar, is just a short walk down the hill. The food is incredible and the owner and server were kind and fun to hang out with! We ate most of our meals here because the food is so good, the drinks are delicious, and the owner/server were so much fun to talk to. We even came away with some new music suggestions, and we love them!
