I have personally attended their program which is one the best sessions which I have taken. knowledge of Mr Krishana prakash is so good and his understanding and teaching is unique . I strongly recommend Shrimath and Mr Krishna Prakash for all your meditation and yoga needs.

I have attended short courses from big names in Yoga but it was very difficult to continue the practice for more than month because all they taught was "Asanas", which did give a sense of completeness. Shrimath Yoga imparted how life should be lead in the "NOW" and asanas were also a part of it. It is now been 6 months and the practice has only become more fulfilling. People tend to associate body exercise /Asanas as Yoga. But the course by Shrimath gives the true essence of Yoga. The course will help individual to understand one-self in better way. I chose Shrimath yoga to do the YAI 200 hours teacher training, primarily for my own learning as a yoga novice. I chose this program because of the opportunity to teach in a local school. The team are knowledgeable, attentive and approachable. The teaching is structured, easy to follow and provokes intellectual thought, humility and respect for the tradition of yoga. The course itself is comprehensively structured and manageable. The grounds are beautiful and are a perfect setting to encourage reconnection with ones inner self. The meals were tasty and nutritious (if you like chilli spice), the rooms basic and clean. There is opportunity to go on a spiritual pilgrimage also and perform 'kriya' - the cleansing practices of yoga. I arrived as a complete beginner, but after three weeks of training and practice I can now say that I feel confident in my own practice and understanding of yoga and meditation thanks to the team at Shrimath. My body feels stronger, lighter and more flexible. But above all, I came home feeling more at peace - with a sense that I had experienced something personally profound and special in rural Bengaluru.

My take on Shrimath I have been an Ashtanga Yoga practitioner since 2008. But that was something that I did as a routine. A rather inconsistent routine. But I knew I loved practicing asanas. I loved the way my body felt after every practice. But I was never particularly inclined towards Pranayama. It wouldn't be wrong to say that I hadn't developed stability to practice Pranayama. I had always been confused about which career path to take. It was in early 2019 that I decided that I wanted to be a yoga teacher. Full time. I trained under my guru Prahalad Kulkarni. I felt confident.. Asana wise. I was able to do Pranayama for longer durations now, but I knew I needed more practice and orientation. Also, I needed a certificate from a reputed institute. I checked out a few places at mysore. But the options were too many. I felt confused. The fees at all these institutions were on the higher end for me, a middle class, non working Indian. If I was going to pay that much, I wanted it to be worth it. That's when I contacted Mr Arun Seetharaman, from Transdisciplinary University. Without a moment of hesitation, he suggested Shrimath. I trusted his word and enrolled myself for the 200 + the 500 hrs program. And I'm definitely glad I did. I completed the course in December 2019 and I'm more confident about my career choice. Thanks to Shrimath. At Shrimath, you are guaranteed a holistic approach to yoga, covering the 8 limbs of it. If you are looking for a place to learn asanas, this may not be the one for you. But if you're looking for a place to understand yoga, and why your body and mind needs it, this is definitely the place. Meditation, yoga nidra and theory classes are meaningful and in depth. If you are serious about learning the real meaning of Yoga, come to Shrimath. You will not be disappointed.

I landed in Shrimath yoga without much expectations. But, on reaching there, i was taken by surprise on several aspects including the ambience, accommodation, food and the landscape. Just like a vedic Gurukulam, but with modern facilities. This combination makes Shrimath Yoga a unique centre for traditional Yoga learning. Daily activities like teaching in the rural school is added advantage. It helped me to learn some interesting things from those children. It was good experience working in the garden of Shrimath as i live in an apartment where i get very limited scope for gardening. I loved thoroughly this activity. On the main part, yoga, i certainly gained a vast knowledge from Mrs and Mr. Krishna. I am thankful to them for making my first yoga learning experience very best. The food served was pure vegetarian and most of the vegetables harvested from their own garden. It was tasty and healthy. Milk, Ghee, buttermilk all are A2 type, from Shrimath's own farm. Here, i have to mention about Rudra, the calf,with whom i spent time playing in my leisure. Also, I haven't used any electronic gadget through out my stay in Shrimath, i realised a simple living is possible at all times. Smriti Krishna's diet planning was awesome. She handled Aasana, Kriya and Pranayama classes with ease. it reflected their vast experience and in depth knowledge. Staff in Shrimath Shoba and Kamal were very helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a traditional experience, i would say, Shrimath is home away from home. Subha

I’ve been in Shrimath in September/2015 for 21 days. Shrimath is the perfect place to the ones that sometimes feel unsatisfied with their lives. For me it was as I had pressed the ‘pause’ button and entered in a new dimension, a new reality. Krishna, Hemma, Smriti, all the team and the entire space taught me much more than postures and breathing techniques. They also gave me lessons of humility, detachment and faith. I came back to my life with a profound feeling of gratitude to all I have, to my family, friends and my sweet problems. I brought a bag full of tools to better deal with the daily frustrations, fears and bad feelings. I brought a heart full of hope. You won’t find luxury at Shrimath. Instead, you will find people that will cook separated meals for you if you need, you will find people that will look at you as an individual in the group and will teach you according your ability or mental predisposition to learn, you will definitely have laughs and amazing moments of pure fun. I recommend Shrimath to everyone who wants to learn about Yoga but specially about her/himself.

I am grateful for the opportunity to deepen my yoga skills and knowledge at Shrimath. KP and Smrithi’s guidance is amazing and I am blessed to learn under such wonderful teachers. I stayed in a nice rural set-up where I experienced simple and serene life, away from daily distractions. Throughout the day, we had asana, pranayama, philosophy, and yoga nidra classes, and in between, we had excellent food freshly prepared with a healthy approach. I am also thankful to engage with the rural school children through yoga, English, and games - it gave me immense pleasure to go to the school and have a great time with the children. The takeaway from Shrimath is that yoga enriches a person as a whole, not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally. I would recommend Shrimath to anyone.

I just finished a week long ‘introduction to yoga’ course at Shrimath Yoga, and it was an enlightening and fascinating learning experience! The staffing is incredibly kind and caring, and accommodated my visit according to my personal needs. If you decide to visit Shrimath Yoga make sure you reach out and get to know everyone, because they will make you want to revisit this place in the future! It was a humbling week of growth for me, mentally and physically, and I would definitely recommend it!

Shrimath Yoga... is one of the allround transformation from physical health to mental health... I personally have experience this with attending the immunity boosting session and a brief Yoga nidra session conducted virtually by Mr. Krishna Paksh of Shrimath Yoga... If you are looking for an authentic, small scale, non commercial, high quality yoga experience, you’re at the right place at Shrimath Yoga. We (couple) followed a Yoga Nidra Course at Shrimath this january. It was absolutely amazing and very rewarding. The ashram itself is set in a peaceful, rural place not far from Bangore. The staff is very friendly, the food is gorgeous, you learn everything you come for and more. This place is a pearl in the highly commercialized yoga world in India. Do not hesitate to register at Shrimath Yoga for your education. We certainly plan to come back. At Shrimath you experience yoga as a living practice.

I had the most meaningful experience at Shrimath. Not only was the Staff professional, kind and attentive but they truly made me feel like home from the get-go. If you are looking for an authentic Indian yoga experience, this is the perfect place for you! Come with an open heart and mind and you will certainly learn and grow in your understanding of yoga philosophy as well as meditation and all other aspects of your yoga practice. I learnt tremendously and brought my practice to a level from which I can continue on my own at home. I enjoyed classes on the spiritual aspect of yoga. They usually led to spontaneous discussion based on our personal experience. During those sessions I deepened my understanding of Yoga as a philosophy and came to understand certain ways of applying it to daily life. Yoga asana practice was nicely incorporated in the daily schedule and it never felt too much or not enough. Hema, the asanas teacher, was always very nice, professional and clear on instructions. She dedicated sufficient time to Pranayama practice as well. In 21 days, you can learn much more than you've expected. Not only will you become a certified yoga teacher, but you will certainly expand your knowledge of all different aspects of yoga. Spending 21 days at Shrimath can be one of the best times dedicated to yourself and to your personal growth, provided in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Please note that the weather is very pleasant year-round and never too hot in rural Bangalore.

I found the Yoga training course at Shrimath to be extremely interesting and thoroughly enjoyable. The 21 day program of 200 hours was very informative covering all aspects of Asanas, Kriya, Mudra, Pranayama & Mantras. In addition, as part of Karma Yoga, I specifically enjoyed going to the school and spending time with the school kids. The daily gardening routine, which I enjoyed, provided me time to reflect upon life’s objectives and gave me the confidence and a mindset to help me grow. All this was achieved because of the course work and the guidance provided by Krishna Sir. I definitely recommend “Shrimath Yoga” for a rich and rewarding experience.
