very recommended! me and my wife started to practice at the himalayan iyengar center one year ago. we literally fell in love with this yoga! the practical and the philosophical ideas of sharat method change our day day life and practice. we started from the 5 days course that was fascinating and made us stay at dharamshala for more 4 weeks of practice. than we join the 3 weeks intensive course at the “himalayan shanti ashram”. the ashram is a beautiful inspiring eco place at the jungle. an environment that help you dive deeply and fully to the practice. with sharat and maria guiding I understand more and more things about my body and mind habits and imbalanced and how to observe theme, understand and sometimes cure. after short peroid of time many medical problems (beck pains, digestive problems) got much better after the intensive course I continue to the “ttc” program. then I learned more practically about the asanas, the different type of practitioners and there needs, yoga-therapy, and more… it is exciting to practice with a teacher like sharat. with is unique point of view, long experience, and Precise method and philosophy. during an intensive course at an Intimate environment you can really experience this close as it can.

The Sharat Arora Yoga Method definitely changed my life for the better. The yoga is so to the point and detailed, and you got such a great guidance from the teachers. Here I really learned that “details make the design”, it’s thanks to this method, where they pay a lot of attention to the details that make the benefits from the pose, my health and energy were regained… During the intensive course, Sharat teach you in his passionate way, he will leave you no other choice then to dive into the practice and it’s trough the frustration and the joy that he guides you to the depth of it. The environment, both at the Ashram and in the Dharamkot Yoga Centre are so beautiful. You come out of class and enjoy the nature, fully… Anytime when you have a question, the teachers are ready there to help you out and you can feel how they themselves live the yoga and are guided in it. When you go on a journey here, you will still feel the results in your life a long time after it… A wonderful gift to yourself and your environment …
