It nearly has been one year now that I visited Abhinam School in Goa. The school was recommended by a really fantastic yoga teacher of mine. I totally knew I can trust her and already had good expectations. My expectations haven't been wrong. The teachers were so, so welcoming, friendly, heartwarming. It felt like you live with your new, big family and I even did not get homesick because the teachers were always here for you. The food was super delicious as well. For sure, it was kept simple, but I never missed anything. There was all you need to stay healthy, comfortable and saturated ;).
I am very thankful for the knowledge I gained there. They do not only teach yoga. They teach ashtanga in a very "healthy" way, so you don't have to be afraid to get hurt. The teachers know what they are doing. Especially in anatomy class with Siddho you get the feeling they really understand how the body works. Deepika teached us philosophy in a very passionate way and Lila was just the best ashtanga teacher you could wish for. I took a lot of knowledge with me and feel comfortable enough to teach other students on this solid base. The teachers were all taught by Guruji Namito, who was taught by Iyengar himself. I can only repeat myself: Thank you for having me, for being there for us, for sharing all your knowledge and especially your love with us. Thank you for lighting up our mood, for helping us understand the purpose of this beautiful life philosophy Yoga :). I am sure I will come back to that peaceful place! All the best x3
