Excellent yoga school with excellent teachers. I completed my 200 hrs Vinyasa training at yoga vimoksha in may 2018. It was really a great experience. All teachers were exceptionally good and experienced. Particularly yogi Sachin panwar, his alignments classes and yoga philosophy were too good,excellent, and enlightening .Also Reejo joy(vinyasa flow) ,yogi Neeraj ji (therapeutic yoga) and yogi Arvind all were excellent teachers. If you are looking for certified yoga teachers training school in Goa, this is the place friends, go for it.

I completed my 200hr Yoga teacher training course in March 15 and couldn't have chosen a better place to do my course. the resort is in a beautiful part of goa hidden away I a peaceful jungle. The hotel staff were very helpful and room service was great after a day of intense classes ! The Rooms were lovely and cleaned everyday. The teachers Vinay and Sharad were amazing, sharing all there knowledge and even more about Yoga. I had a amazing experience and memories with Vimoshka Yoga and now teachin myself in the UK. I received my yoga teaching certificate earlier this year at the Vimoksha institution in Goa, India. I stayed there for almost a month. My experience there was unprecedented, not only did I develop healthier habits, but the time I spent there, will forever be remembered as a pivotal point in my life.The staff there, is friendly and highly knowledgable. I can assure you, that you will find no better alignment yoga teacher than Mr. Sachin Panwar. His excellence makes everything feel easy and look beautiful. You must experience it for yourself. It doesn't matter how much you weight or how old you are, he will work with you ardently until he finds a way to make your vision become a reality. I was always afraid to do the 'headstand' position, now because of his perfect technic I can do it with confidence. The Scenery at the Vimoksha site is breathtaking. Countless time, I have experienced mind blowing sunsets, unifying my body, mind and soul. You will be move, that, I guaranty you! I guess that's why they name it Vimoksha; it means 'enlightenment'. Yes, there, you can learn many things, such as yoga and ayurveda, but the experience is so much more than that. And the work continues even after I left India. On my returned to the States, I was able to see much more clearer and found the courage to make the necessary changes to improved my personal and professional life. I had been to India before for training so this training exceeded my expectations, Reejo in particular helped me immensely and took me beyond what I thought possible in the month I was there. The food was ....very consistent eg dahl and rice for a lot of the meals, however I never asked for it to be changed and I’m sure they would have obliged, also there are a number great restaurants with in 20 minute walk. The accommodation I had was beautiful and really comfortable. I attended in monsoon season so it was quiet and I’m glad I went then as it has the potential to be really busy in season. Again I feel I got a lot out of this training and also feel that the students willingness to try their best to push them selves and be in the right frame of mind contribute hugely to everyone’s experience!!!! Also I would recommend for anyone taking on Ashtanga do your research on Ashtanga and know what it is first!! A big thank you to the team at Vimoksha 🙏🏻😀

Completion of these qualifications would not have been possible without my fabulous teachers, who made my whole experience a fantastic one and I use the methods used by these wonderful teachers in my own teaching with my own students. I would strongly recommend Vimoksha for YTTC and encourage you to learn as much as possible from these fabulous yoga teachers. The staff were also amazing, and accommodated us in any way they could. I have done the yoga teaching class last marsh at Vimoksha in Goa, and, since I had been doing yoga classes everywhere else in many Goa yoga schools before ending in Vimoksha , I can testify that this IS the BEST! The high expertise level of the teachers, the knowledge and well trained of the group of teachers as well as their genuine motivation to upgrade your own personal level are amazing. Global ambiance and confort of the location are also very much idéal.

It was a wonderful experience. Both the instructors Mr. Reejo and Mr.Sachin were very learned and motivating.Best part is they both focused on each student in the batch and tried to push us to our limits. Even the theory classes were very helpful. The location is serene and beautiful. A big thumbs up for the overall experience.👍🏻

I finally managed to attend the Yoga training course in Goa, as something I have been meaning to do in ages. The experience was surely enlightening, having learnt more than expected about the origins of Yoga and the Indian culture in general. The venue was sceneric and beautiful, with Yoga sessions done overlooking the ocean. Above all the Yoga lessons were amazing and the best part of the experience. The 5* has been surpassed by our awesome Yoga instructors Satchin and Arbind!

I completed my 200hr TTC in vinyasa, Hatha and yin, in September 2019, and it was the best experience life has yet had to offer me. A special mention to Master yogi Sachin, for his in depth guidance and powerful classes and tutoring, to Master Arvin for your dedication and patience in his mentorship and to Master Niraj for his clarity and detailed teachings of yoga therapy. Also to Dr Minal for her in depth knowledge and passion of teaching in the anatomy classes ! The marketing team and Beach house staff are so kind and helpful and at any point willing to assist with anything you may need. Having practices yoga for over 10 years, completing my ttc was a luge long dream, one that completely exceeded any expectations I had to begin with. I have grown immensely in my practice, in body mind and spirit, and through my confidence gained on the course i have successfully opened a small neighbourhood studio in Mauritius. Lastly but certainly not least, the friends I made here are my soul tribe for life, our connection runs deeper than meets the eye and I truly believe that we were all sent to meet Vimoksha at that point in our lives, for a reason. Growth & Love at the centre of it all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I highly recommend Yoga Vimoksha and I plan to return one day to do my 300 hrs.

Yoga Vimoksha is excellent for their courses in YTT and the retreats that they offer. Not only that, but they also post many informative posts that help in educating people about the various ways yoga can be used to help out people facing many different challenges or issues.

We attended here for our 200hr Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training in August 2018. The accommodation was lovely and food was great but the main business for this place is a wellness spa resort and we were definitely second place to the guests there doing wellness retreats. Although there was a massive air conditioned hall where the 2-5 retreat guests ate, we were made to eat outside being eaten by mosquitoes and without adequate numbers of seats! The course iteself was okay but we only had 110hrs of contact time with the teachers and none of the lead teachers listed on the website were actually present! The course fell well short of the standards set by the Yoga Alliance UK and USA and we found that the standard of English of some of the teachers meant getting questions answered was often difficult, frustrating and most of the time we were left none the wiser! Although the teaches we had were passinate about their work, overall the course was a big disappointment and waste of money. Would not recommend for teacher training.

Didn't collect me from the airport and then incorrectly blamed me for giving them the wrong information. This happened to another student also. They don't mention beforehand that you're expected to sign a contract which includes a non-disclosure agreement, as well as a vow of celibacy, sobriety and a promise to give feedback and video a testimonial. The teachers were fine but the philosophy class I attended was literally just a guy reading to us from a booklet that we each had a copy of. The classes tended to finish early and were quite spread out so there were long, unnecessary periods of waiting. The facilities weren't bad although the morning classes were held in a makeshift hut in the carpark where the floor was pretty uneven (bad for yoga). I quit after three days. It was nonrefundable, so if you object to the above then don't go.

The facilities are wonderful and the teachers are very good at their varying teaching styles. This is a great place to study Ashtanga and HaTha styles of yoga. The value for money is incredible. I definitely recommend it to anyone planning to study or visit Goa for the purpose of exploring yoga further.
