Kalathil Lake Ayurveda Resort

We spent one day of our life and it was just amazing, the beautiful property, 100% natural beauty, so close to back water and beautiful landscapes professional staff. We recommend this property everyday who wants to enjoy and to make some good memories of their life.

Kalathil Resort Awsome primises to spend a day with Family..... Too good room, properties, boating, garden... Guys you have to do something with swiming pool to avoid such chlorination in water , that was too much of hair and eyes, .... Everything was good except few Service faults.. Before I reached I called and inquired about the barbique set up they told if it is not raining they can arrange. I carred Few Kgs of cheicken on there word and the guy who welcomes us simple denied and said we dnt have such options here, He could have deined in good hospitaliy manner. Then we asked for some space in freezer to keep that meat, still he said key is not with they kitchen people closed it and taken aways. later he himself arranged the freezer for us. I was totally disturbed from there... I nevered dealt with him anymore. Later we had few beers with us for chilling, our mistake is that we couldnt find the fridge inside our room, it was properly palce in one of the wardrobe. Again we called this guys can we make these chilled from somewhere... he said we have to carry the same to him to get it chilled. We carried 400m to him and got it chilled. Later we found the fridge inside the room and got so much annoyed , we can not explain it to anyone. Next day morning, we called I himself called the reception to get a bed coffee for us, somebody told it will be ready in 15min and we have to go there to drink, that I know, I asked for bed coffee. Not the breakfast. Every resort provides bed coffee, he said it will be chargeable if we bring to room, I never asked for free to him, we all will give a tip to the guy whu brings the tea for us to see the smile from him. that how we deal. Except these everything was perfect and good, please take these into consideration, thank you!!!

they r earning as location is superb, poor room service, 3rd class furnishing.. and even they don't have ice cubes or cold water in a 30+ degree temperature.. who says they r 3 or 4 star that is what they call.. hopeless hotel.. not recommended at all..rest is ur call

Well maintained and organized rooms with Great Lake views, Great and pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful scenery. The swimming pool and ground with the backwaters of Vembanad Lake, on of the fabulous lake in Kerala

Superb experience.The resort is luxurious, homely, and romantic. Has all amenities like swimming pool, multi cousine restaurant, gym, ayurvedic massage center, play station like TT, carroms, bow and arrow. Very good experience with family.Worth to spend with family.

The way the resort is build is nice. It has a nice ambiance. Surrounded by lake and the activities, its a nice place to visit. Regarding the pool, the tiles were broken and I think the staffs are not taking care of that. This caused a deep injury on my leg and I have informed about. Hopefully they will make a repair of that. Regarding the food it was nice, but can upgrade a little bit by including some extra dishes. Indoor activities like badminton etc can be included in the package. Overall its a nice place to spend a day...

A good place with a lovely ambience, The resort has activities like cycling, boating...Pedal and canoe boating are a must to try....Pool was clean and clear and wasnt crowded too...The boating in the vembanad lake was arranged and sunset was mesmerising...Rooms were neat and clean and no mosquitoes...Buffet can have variety...Staffs were very friendly...

Lovely location and landscape , maintained , courteous staff with all amenities like swimming pool , cycling , boating ,gym etc. Home like food. Very well maintained property and what else ,worth visiting while you are visiting back waters in Kerala .

Beautiful place. Wonderful ambience. Neat and clean surroundings. Well maintained rooms. Great food. Great place in the outskirts of Ernakulam to spend weekends with family and friends. The staff is very cordial cheerful and efficient. I give bravo Zulu. The experience of shikkara ride in vembanad lake, a game of volleyball, swimming pool, paddle and row boating, lots of beautiful fishes etc wereall memorable experiences.

A beautiful place situated on the banks of Vembanad lake. This place is surrounded by water from almost all directions and is as calm and peaceful as you can get anywhere else. The rooms are nicely situated with water front and are well designed. Each room has nice gallery overlooking the peaceful surroundings. The resort offers lot of complimentary activities. One of the must do activity is pedal boating in the waters of the resort. The breakfast spread and taste is decent. However we found the food a little too oily. All in all, an excellent place to spend on a vacation.

My husband and I planned a short stay here for my birthday and the overall experience was just wow! We took the Premium cottage - which was lake facing. The room was so spacious and the balcony was the highlight. Their restaurant was also amazing with a decent breakfast spread and delicious sea food options for Lunch and Dinner - all made fresh and served hot. The best part is that the resort is so full of activities and experiences in itself that you don't need to go anywhere else. They have got Ayurvedic massage, lots of indoor games, a very clean and great swimming pool, hourly Shikara rides from the resort, Yoga session in the morning and an awesome boating stretch with a variety of boats to try on your own! :) Special thanks to Mr. Abhijit Balan - the General Manager there - who made sure we had an amazing experience. And he also surprised us with a sweet little birthday celebration with the staff on my birthday, along with a lovely cake! Will definitely recommend this to all visiting Kerala, be it with friends or family!

Really nice place to stay. Very courteous staff. Would like to go there again. Rooms were very nice. Restaurant was also very good. Breakfast was sumptuous. Pool was not that good. Staff especially jainsee, Neerja and janeesh were very helpful.

Its a great place to spend couple of days. I went with friends and we had fun for 2 days. Pool is good like really large one and is enough shallow to swim around. Breakfast buffet is good but limited dishes. Staffs are all good and always helpful. We ordered some items on the menu for dinner and it was good and less expensive. Do visit there ayurvedic center. We did oil massage and staeam bath and it was good and refreshing. The property is well maintained and they have some free activities like peddle boats etc.

It's very nice for stay. I have stayed with my friends. Found the hotel and staffs are very nice and cooperative, good atmosphere and thanks to kalathil resort and Abhijith balan for a memorable stay.. I sincerely recommending this to all people looking forward to a good stay at kumarakam

We came to Kalathil Lake resort as part of out Office Day Out. Only challenge was reaching to this place. Once you are here, you have various activities inside the property itself. Food was also really good.

Location is very Nice. Rooms are Good, Clean. Every room is Having Big Balcony , Activities are Good And Many . Breakfast & other food Items are Good. Staff is very cooperative Since most of the time Guest are coming with Hire Car But Resort have no proper accommodation arrangement And food arrangement for Driver

I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and kids... The room and the balcony was big & comfortable..The staff were all Very pleasant and helpful... We enjoyed the buffet breakfast,Lunch and our evening dinner.... A beautiful resort... Swimming pool was fine and my kids had some fine time. My experience at Kalathi Lake Resort was excellent. The location was perfect, the service was excellent. The treatment at the Ayurveda center was great.. The ambience and environment was a mini paradise.The person who helped us Mr. Abhijith Balan (General Manager)having good knowledge on the place and he acted as personal guide for us all the time..... Thanks Abhijith bahiii for the great time

Had a great stay with my sweet, The stay was great, resort atmosphere was also great and the resort staff was also very friendly. The resort is situated in the best place. Thankyou for whole team. for such a great experience.

We stayed at the Resort with Family and kids for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a excellent experience. It's an hour and half drive by car from Cochin international airport. The approach road to the Resort is quite narrow and is about 3-4 Kms ride from the Main road. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The front office staff were very warm and polite. The resort has good security and they help you with the paddle boats also. Our Kids used most of the amenities including pool, games, cycling, fishing etc. it was a great experience for them. Though the Cycle definitely needs some good maintenance. The resort also provides good Ayurveda massage. The Rooms were quite big along with sit outs facing the water front. You can take a walk around the Resort in the Mornings. • Break Fast – Excellent – But be early there it takes times to replenish the stock once the batch is exhausted. • Pool – Quite normal, lots of Chlorine and not temperature controlled. • Lots of Mosquitoes in the Room – do take along some mosquito Repellent • Garden – well maintained and good. You can make use of the Badminton rackets from the reception area. • Paddle boats are available and it is good fun to take a ride along the waterfronts • The resort also organizes Shikara Boat ride at INR 1500 for an hour. • This is a No Smoking Resort. Overall it was a wonderful experience for us. The check-in time is 01:00 p.m. and check out is at 11:30. Would love to visit this resort again and I would definitely recommend Kalathil lake resort to anyone who is searching for a very nice Resort to stay in Kumarakom

Convenient location very near to Kochi. Grat ambience..value for money. Rooms built into water.. great homely food and good service. Me and my wife stayed atb Kalathil lake resort for one night. We booked online.Check-in and reception was cordial. It is a serene getaway with backwater all around. Quiet place for people who wants torewind from the hustle and bustle of town.

This is my second visit to Kalathil lake resort.Thanks a bunch to the General Manager Abhijith and his staff for offering the top-notch service and scrumptious food.I would undoubtedly recommend my friends and family members to visit the property when they incorporate kumarakom in their Travel itinerary.
