Namaste, I selected Shiva Yoga Peeth because I had this deep desire to grow my understanding of what it is to be a true Yogi. There was no question in my mind that in order to achieve this I must study in the birth place of yoga and so my journey took me to India and directly to Shiva Yoga Peeth in Rishikesh, India. Having now completed the 500 hour teacher training with them I am confident and thrilled to say that I selected best school with the best teachers and staff. Loved the new and original ashrams and exploring the yogi village of Luxman Jhula (Rishikesh). It is a highly spiritual village that is over-flowing with friendly, peace loving souls. I look forward to many return visits! I highly recommend them and suggest that you take your yoga journey to the next level and join Shiva Yoga Peeth for one of their teacher training programs. I am K M Gautam from Vietnam just finished my yoga teacher training course Talking about India, Rishikesh and our Shiva Yoga Peeth, I would like to repeat and add few more of my own words which is "" incredible India - Incredible Shiva Yoga Peeth!"". Hopefully, that is able to transfer my thankfulness to God creating Rishikesh, the city of yoga, to be the most peaceful and holly place i have never experienced anywhere like this place. The sweet mantras echoed from Himalayan mountains and flowing with the beautiful flow of Ganga river have made this place to be the greatest place for healing, yoga retreat and having full experience in yogic life too. Next, I visited Rishikesh as a tourist years ago but the experience was totally different between being a traveller in Rishikesh and being a yoga teacher in YTT course in Yoga Shiva Peeth, Rishikesh. Firstly, i have touched to the heart of blessings and peace here through powerful mantras in meditation classes as well as through the outings to visit temples, Ganga bank ... Secondly, I had greatest nutritious food not only for my mind but also for my body (I must send a big thanks to the cook at school, waw how wonderful his dishes were!). Thirdly, i got fit, strength and of course flexibility as well due to great asanas from classes of experienced professional teachers  who has transferred willingness and passion in their yogic path to their students. Last but not least, I would send my words to those teachers "" You have raised me up in the bliss to be a yogi, thanks a lot, you made my dream comes true.""  Once again, thanks for all what you have done for us by your heart, Sir! My girlfriend and I where traveling in india and were interested in doing a yoga teacher training program. We decided this on quite short notice and realized that most people booked months in advance to attend YTT Progams, so we weren't left with many options. Luckily we stumbled across Shiva Yoga Peeth. When talking to them they seems sincere and we had a good feeling about them so we booked right away. Shiva Yoga Peeth,s teacher training program was much much more than I expected. Coming from Canada I had practiced yoga for about 2 years. I had a good Physical practice and thought I knew quite a bit about yoga. Shive Yoga Peeths traditional hatha style yoga course taught me so much more than i ever imagined. Yoga has taken so many different forms in the last couple decades and it is so important to realize that it all stemmed from Hatha yoga. Learning a traditional style of yoga gives you the foundation to be creative in your own practice. It gives you the essential tools of asanas, pranayam, bundas, mudras and Kryas that will forever change your life. Whether you are intending on teaching yoga after this course or just doing it for your personal practice, I strongly recommend you go to india and take a traditional yoga teacher training course, and I strongly recommend you do it through Shiva Yoga Peeth. The purity and personal practice of Swami Sudir is unparalleled, the location is outside of rishikesh so your not in a big city, and the bonds you make with fellow students will stay with you for your life time. India is a very unique and special place. My experience here, over five months, has opened my mind and my heart in countless and indescribable ways. A month of that experience was spent with the wonderful people at Shiva Yoga Peeth. My time in the ashram completing the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training has not only shown me what my physical body is capable of, but has helped me to harness and use a new voice and my natural ability to teach. We were also very well taken care of. For westerners coming without any other experience in India, it is a very comfortable way to arrive and find their India feet. In the ashram, any sort of help is available, and the food here is prepared with love and care in a hygienic manner. Also, the program is very comprehensive. In such a short amount of time, I was able to understand so much about yogic philosophy, as well as practice. My month at Shiva Yoga Peeth helped me on my path to becoming a safe and effective yoga teacher. Rishikesh is also a beautiful place to spend some time. A very holy place, right on the banks of the Ganga, Rishikesh is a properly Indian place where one can still find some western comforts. Plus, there is a bounty of natural beauty here, with countless waterfalls in the area, beautiful jungle and views of the Himalayas. My time here has effected my life in a very profound and positive way!

My name is Sienna and I came to Rishikesh, all the way from the US to initiate a practice in yoga. I had always felt yoga was a calling but understood I needed the discipline and proper guidance to catalyze its application in my life. Within the first few days of my stay in Rishikesh I explored many yoga teachers and centers but felt truly at home and in the right hands once I found Swami Sudhir Anand! His teaching style is gentle and he is a true master! I stuck with it and made quantum leaps in terms of my progress as a student. With his encouragement and wonderful guidance I went further and joined his yoga training course. One important quality I feel impelled to illuminate, being one of the many reasons why I chose Swami Sudhir Anand as my teacher is his genuine care and faith in his students. At first I was reluctant and shy to try for this course, but he showed me how to be confident and masterful like him! Looking back now I can see how far I have come thanks to him. I just wanted to say that I have enjoyed this course very much. Yogi Sudhir is a great Teacher and it was a pleasure for me to meet with him and I feel grateful for having this opportunity. The people at this course were also very nice and we could share our experience with each other. We have learned a lot of new things, including Asana, Pranayama, Reiki, mediation and cleansing techniques!! It was very interesting and beneficial for us all.

This course was very useful for me because until now nobody had explained these techniques to me so perfectly and in such detail. I hope these traditional habits will help me in the future and I will keep me in good health. Each Asana was explained very clearly, with benefits of it and its contraindications and variations which were very useful for me as a yoga instructor. I was introduced to new pranayama techniques, kryas, reiki practices and approaches to traditional Hatha yoga. I would recommend his lessons and Teacher training course to as many people as I a can. The course was very nice. I learned a lot from yoga asanas, pranayamas and Indian Reiki, especially pranayamas brought me great benefit. Our teacher, Yogi Sudhir is so clever and patient teacher with great knowledge of all fields of yoga. I like also Shivinanda yoga very much. I’ll try to apply it in my life. Yogi Sudhir, Namaste. During this course we have spent together it was really great, you are a very nice human being, calm but always patient to help, teach and answer our questions. This yoga course was held in very good way. How it was scheduled & organized, this I liked a lot (morning pranayamas & meditation, Reiki, Hatha…. Afternoon Ashtanga and evening discussion) for myself, I discovered how I like Hatha Yoga and explored Ashtanga (which I haven’t practiced so far) . I am glad we learnt how to do Pranayamas in the correct way; I also found your style of Indian Reiki very interesting. I know yoga is a complex system not only physical exercises, this I realized so much more on your course, as well as so much more. It was also a nice group of people here, nice atmosphere. For me this course was a holistic way of teaching spirituality revealing the way in which your awareness of breathing brings you to your inner universe, how we can experience our bodies by practicing yoga and bringing all its benefits together to live a healthy and happy life. This course also teaches one how to share this knowledge with others in an eloquent way. Through this course one learns how to breathe, or hold the breath (Bandhas), how to find your limits and work through them in a sensible way by practicing Asanas, how to overcome health problems by also cleansing your body through meditation and Pranayama, along with various cleansing processes (Shatkarmas) and treatment with the divine energy of Reiki. All is one...that is what i loved about this teacher training course. You receive valuable insight into your body in so many ways possible resulting in a greater overall awareness. I very much enjoyed being a part of this great way of teaching and sharing...Thank u very much for this wonderful divine experience...the angels were always with us...om

Yogi Sudhir is master of Nauli (abdominal churning) and wizard of improvisation. He has very greative style to guide, also he is flexible according student individual needs. After this course i sure feel confidence to teach Yoga.

I know Yogi Sudhir from my country, Bulgaria, where he was teaching yoga for 3 months. I attended a lot of yoga and reiki classes during that time. The personal development and extensive experience in yoga practice,achieved under the teachings of Swami Sudhir proved that he is a highly qualified, dedicated and sincere yoga teacher. I participated in the one-month TTC program in India from June 15th - July15th,2010. The course was more than useful for acquiring new teacher skills and expertise. Besides the intensive practice of asanas and pranayam, I really appreciate the theoretical and philosophical understanding of the ancient yoga science that the course provides. The meditation practices were also extremely helpful in expanding and raising the consciousness.
