The Pineapple House

My daughter and I just spent 3 lovely days at The Pineapple House Bali! We really enjoyed everything about the ambience, relaxed atmosphere, the massages and access to the Yoga classes right next door. The staff were very friendly and so helpful with anything. I highly recommend this place and would love to return!

I had a wonderful relaxing stay at The Pineapple House in Canggu. All of the staff at the villa were warm, cooked amazing breakfasts, and I loved chatting with them throughout my stay. As a novice surfer Sunny and his team looked after me and it was exhilarating to be back standing up on a board for the first time in many years. The location is quiet but is only a short scooter or taxi ride from the beach, shops and local bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend it as a solo traveller as I felt safe going out on my own in the early evening. I look forward to maybe visiting again one day!

I stayed here for a week in september. The pros are that it is small, very relaxed and the staff are super helpful. The breakfasts are also quite decent. I was sunburned one day and one of the staff drove to the chemist to get some painkillers.. it gives you an idea of how well they look after people. The only downsides are that it is a little bit far from the action so you're reliant on using taxis, but that's the only real downside. The place is a bit more expensive than other places in canggu, but it is worth it overall.

I stayed her for two wonderful weeks. There are a lot of cool and lovely places in Bali and this is one of them. For me what sets The Pineapple house aside is the people and everything they offer from a smile in the morning served with a beautiful healthy breakfast, to a well thought through day trip, amazing massages to transforming sessions with great lightworkers. All done with a genuine warmth and care for the guest to have as good a time as possible while experiencing Bali together with great flexibility for your comfort. My room was gorgeous with an outdoor bathroom making the experience of a shower as close to nature as you can get in a village. This is a place that I recommend to anyone wanting to experience a heartfelt beautiful place. All my love to all working at The Pineapple house and I hope to be back (with two working feet) soon. It is the best possible choice if you’re looking for a peaceful place for yoga and surf. I booked less than 24h in advance and everything was perfect. I felt like home at Pineapple house. Era made my stay there so easy, she even helped me to plan the rest of my trip around Bali. I’m so grateful I found this place and I could relax there for a few days. Thank you so much!

I went to Bali on a total whim and Pineapple House accommodated me with less than 24 hours notice. The retreat was everything I needed and more... stunning villa, beautiful bedroom and outdoor bathroom and the yoga was another level. (Careful what class you pick- some are pretty advanced!) The only downside for me, being a bit of a sun worshipper, is you cant really sit in the sun much at the villa as the loungers are shaded; but the beach isn't far and if you've not got it yet- GoJek is your go to app for getting around (essentially Bali Uber!) Era and Putu are so lovely and really make you feel like part of the family.. a far more personal experience than other retreats I have been to. I also did a private class with Lucy who introduced me to Yin which opened my eyes as I had never really understood it before. Having gone through a particularly tough time at home in previous months, all I wanted from Pineapple House was to escape reality for a bit and forget.. what I came away with was far more valuable; mental clarity and positivity, thanks to the incredible support and love shown to me by these beautiful strangers. I will be forever grateful.. This is truly a special place, if you are thinking of going alone- do it. I met some incredible people and I would go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed the most comfy bed to sleep on. The staff are friendly, very accomodating to any needs and always with a bright smile. Highly recommended for those needing a quiet time, yet mingling with a small group of guests during your stay and having to hear their stories.

Best holiday my partner and I have had in ages. Perfect mix of self managed villa and hotel. We stayed 9 nights and did the yoga and surf package. Super flexible with the yoga classses at the amazing yoga retreat next door. Picked up each morning for surf by excellent local guides and organised extra massages right here in the villa afterwards most days, to ease aching surf muscles. I was a beginner at both but feel I have an amazing grounding now to continue my practice when I’m back home in Sydney. The breakfasts included were simple and delicious and gave us the opportunity to sample all the amazing restaurants and cafes in the area for lunch and dinner. Did a day trip to Ubud with Agus, highly recommended. His commentary and stories made the trip extra special, especially in the water temple. Felt like we were staying in a friend’s villa, felt super connected and looked after. Would definately come back next time in Cangu.

I stayed at the pineapple house for 9 days in early May and had the best time. The house is incredibly beautiful - each of the rooms is absolutely gorgeous. The pineapple house team are some of the kindest and most welcoming people ever. Canggu is such a laid back little town with amazing shops, cafes and restaurants and a beautiful beach. The yoga studio next door is equally beautiful. While I didn’t surf, the instructor is such a lovely guy and I had an amazing time tagging along with the girls who were surfing to chill by the beach for a few hours.

This is my 2nd time in the Pinapple House. Having to be welcomed by amazing friends here, I felt like coming back home. I also became friends with people whqo staying here and start doing yoga, surfing, spa and shopping together!!! I highly recommend for those who are beginner for yoga and surfing but also intermediate practitioners to have own time and mingle with people when you want to. The place is super super clean and Putu makes amazing breakfast to keep you going for the day. Highly recommended :)

I stayed at Pineapple House for a five day surf and yoga retreat and can't recommend it highly enough. The villa itself, and my room, was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous and comfortable rooms, beautiful pool, incredibly delicious and nutritious breakfasts made my the talented Batu. The surfing was Sunni was terrific, as was the yoga as Desa Seni, but what really makes Pineapple House is the wonderful people that create your experience and tropical home away from home - Agus, Era and Batu. I had a wonderful time at the Pineapple house! Era, Agus, and the rest of the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating and were able to coordinate everything I wanted to do in Canggu. The property is beautiful and comfortable - I would definitely recommend staying here!

I have been to Bali a few times & I was looking for a relaxing solo getaway for 5 days to de-stress and do nothing except for some yoga. Pineapple house was exactly what I was looking for & needed. The villa is super cute, and the staff were so friendly and amazing. Big thank you to Agus, for driving me from-to airport and all his tips on the area, Putu for all the amazing breakfasts and tidying up after us every day & Era for going above and beyond at organising everything while we were there, for the inspirational conversations & the cooking lesson! The other guests were also very nice, and made the experience great. The villa is situated very close to the yoga centre Desa Seni, which takes 2mins to walk there, which was so convenient. I also love Canggu for all the amazing food, there are so many restaurants conveniently close-by, and so many amazing vegetarian options. If you are feeling like staying in, it is so easy to order take aways with the Go jek app. Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough. I haven’t been this relaxed in a long time & I wished I could have stayed longer!! Thanks again, I will be back soon!

This is my 5th time in Bali. And also the best time. Everything about The Pineapple House is perfect. I love my balcony room so much. Specially all the staffs, Era for being so nice & helpful, I enjoyed so much talking to her and listen to her awesome stories. She came in the Villa every day to make sure everything was going smoothly. Agus, he picked me up from airport and gave me tips on the best restaurants in the areas and places to go. Putu made the delicious and beautiful pancake. I enjoyed every single day here. Yoga and Surfing or do nothing. I will definitely come back again. And maybe a longer stay the next time. Thank you. My first trip to Bali, and wow it has been totally amazing ???? My intention was to travel somewhere for relaxation, yoga and surf lessons.. plus self improvement. And I couldn't be happier. A beautiful villa (it's even better than in the photos) in a peaceful setting with amazing staff. If, like me, you like the idea of a retreat but don't like the idea of sticking to a schedule then the Pineapple House is the perfect option, it's so flexible and you can really do as much or as little as you want. The yoga at Desa Seni next door is taught by world class instructors and the outdoor shala is absolutely stunning. It felt like true luxury to have private yoga lessons and a massage (included in my yoga package) right outside my bedroom door next to the pool. I stayed for 8 nights and didn't want to leave!
