This small oasis in central Ubud is a serene and quiet respite from the sounds and business of the centre, but just a short 5 minute walk away. The garden and sounds of the river with birds, plants and gorgeous flowers offers a wonderful and peaceful stay. The host is warm, welcoming and very helpful in acquainting a traveler to the beauty and offerings of Ubud. If meditation is your thing, your host also offers one-on-one sessions which I highly recommend. Highly, highly recommend White Lotus Oasis for an enjoyable stay and reasonably priced!

We booked for one night and ended up staying 6! The host is funny, helpful, caring and a pleasure to be around. She has designed the cottage around nature. You are surrounded by the sound of a small waterfall, rustling of the bamboo and a myriad humming birds, butterflies, geckos etc. She has even made a small meditation pool to mediate or just take a dip in. Whilst you are in the centre of Ubud you wouldn’t know or feel it. We feel refreshed and ready to go home, leaving some of our worries behind us. I can’t recommend it enough.

I bring my family in middle of july in this place and what i can tell is that the service and the spot were the best ever walking distance from the center. I met lovely Siri who take care of this place and she was more than an host, for my sister birthday she organized to put flower on the bed and also book a nice restaurant to make my life easier. She even give a sa gift for my sister and my family a sound healing, and the also doing yoga on the top of the place where you are literally in the jungle. I have been staying at white Lotus Oasis since 2015, I have had nothing, but a beautiful time here, the staff are amazing, last year I was so ill and was taken care of like a princess. This place is tranquil and one of the reasons I continue to return year after year, I was here in Jasmin room this year as all the rooms were booked up, I have had the pleasure to stay in all of the rooms here. People here are quite and respectful, The owner does amazing tarot readings and the Balinese yoga is wonderful. Whoever wrote a bad review regarding my home away from home is delusional. This is just the best place to stay in Ubud, and I have stayed in many places since 2015, Go check it out The staff are delightful, they are so happy to help. The great thing here, is it’s just so peaceful, but yet so close to central Ubud, just a 2 min walk. I love this place so much, I will return every year. The owner makes me feel it is my home and that is so special to me I will continue to recommend this hidden treasure of a place to stay in Ubud. A true Oasis

White Lotus Oasis was highly recommended to me by a teacher of mine. It is a gem and treasure in the heart of Ubud. Location wise, it is accessible to most of the key places in Ubud, and yet it is in a paradise on its own. I stayed there for 3 nights and wished I had stayed there for more days, and had spent more time there for Tarot-card reading and other activities. I attended one of the meditation sessions at White Lotus Oasis and I have had a memorable and positive experience. The host is friendly and hospitable. The place is clean. I love the peaceful atmosphere of White Lotus Oasis. For this place, there is limited rooms, so it helps to make reservations as soon as one is aware of one's schedule. It is also helpful to keep the host informed of one's estimated time of arrival on the day of arrival. Beautiful views and a wonderful paradise to relax. Suitable for people who appreciate a peaceful place to retreat to in the heart of Ubud, and to unwind to simply "Be". Please plan in time to attend one of the meditation or yoga classes. My first choice to stay when I visit Ubud, Bali, again.

I love this space! Been to Ubud many times and this is a gem, a home in the heart of Ubud. Conveniently located. Enjoyed every moment here. Love the meditation workshops and tarot reading is fabulous. Definitely to return. Highly recommended!

We stayed here 4 night but we wished we would have stayed more.. this place is just absolutely amazing! It is in a side street from the main road of ubud, where you escape from all the busy life. It looks like it's in the middle of the jungle, because it is surrounded by many beautiful green palmtrees and the rooms with the large private terrases are just next to a waterfall, which creates a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere because of the sound. After visiting so many crowded places such as kuta and seminiyak, this was really the best place to recover and to fully relax. You can spend the whole day reading on the comfy sofa on your own terras, looking at the beautiful green trees with birds and listening to the sound of the waterfall. And if you want to do something, there is a beautiful rice field walk just 5 min away from the hotel, and you are within 2 min in the center of ubud. So the location is just amazing, it is so peaceful but at the same time you are very close to everything. Also the staff is very nice and kind. Unfortunately the owner was not there, because I would have liked to follow here yoga- and meditation classes. But she was so kind to let me use her meditation room in the mornings, which is really one of the most beautiful places where I have meditated! This place is just perfect, so stop reading more reviews and book now! Because better then this you will not get!

Yes once again I am home, Relaxing in this beautiful oasis. My heartfelt thank you to all the staff. Wonderful clean rooms, Thank You, Putu and Kadek.. Garden kept wonderful by Mr Kadeck. Management Mr Gede does a wonderful job of checking on the guests and is also an excelent tour guide and driver. There is no end of what I can say about this treasure of a place, but I will just say Truly Amazing!!!

A beautiful small boutique accommodation where I have now stayed several times. I have been lucky enough to stay in all 3 rooms and each being unique. Now under new management, the standard and cleanliness and privacy remains excellent. Gede and Putu were so warm and welcoming and available to help with transport and any questions. This is my perfect place for my meditation in the beautiful garden with the birds and sound of the river below. Yoga on my private balcony. Also close to the main centre of Ubud and very safe. Thank you Gede and Putu and I will see you again next year

Thank you to Sandeh, the hostess, for this piece of heaven. Tranquil, peaceful environment, and serene evening meditation sessions overlooking lush vegetation. She has put her soul into this hotel, which is a real oasis in the center of Ubud. And the price is great! Highly recommended!

I had no idea what to expect from the silent meditation day as I'd never done anything like this before. It was without a doubt one of my highlights of my Indonesia trip, an amazing day focusing on yourself, you literally experience every emotion possible in a completely safe and open environment, it's so liberating. Would definitely recommend, Sandeh has created something really special here.

I visited White Lotus for my 4th time. It is difficult to discribe the place. I just tell you, go there. So simple is that. As soon as you take the steps down to that peaceful nature paradise, you will understand what I mean. It is a state of mind. Everything there is flowing, peaceful,glowing. Just remember to be quiet and listen and feel. Otherwise you can´t see and feel the magic. I love this place and Sandeh too <3 Safe, clean, walking distance of the centre of Ubud.

White lotus is a hidden gem right in the center of Ubud. The sorrounding is beautiful, green and lush, like a small paradise. The market is just a short walk from here, and there are a lot of shops, restaurants and a beautiful ricefield walk nearby. The owner Sandeh is a wonderful woman, and i can strongly recommend her meditation classes (mondays, tuesdays & thursdays) which i just loved. If you are looking for a nice, safe and relaxing place to stay at in Ubud, this is the place for you.

I was fortunate to have booked a week's stay at Sandeh's lovely accommodation in a wonderful quiet laneway very close to the centre of Ubud. I had read the reviews and knew I would enjoy Sandeh's company but was unaware there was a wonderful Yoga instructor from the UK running classes every morning in the shala upstairs. This was an absolute bonus and meant I did not need to go to one of the more 'commercial' studios to practice yoga. Sandeh was a great host - unfortunately she had to go to Thailand for surgery during my stay and I have to say the place was not the same without her. Sandeh runs three different meditation sessions on different evenings which were all enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed each of them - the Angel cards and discussion afterwards was a unexpected delight. After one week I moved to accommodation down the road for the simple reason that I needed to stay somewhere with a pool. I also had a Tarot Card reading with Sandeh which I recorded and have since transcribed - the reading summed up my current life and my children with frightening accuracy. As I was travelling on my own for only the second time Sandeh's was a wonderful, safe haven where I met delightful like-minded people and a place where I was repeatedly drawn back to well after I had moved elsewhere. Thankyou Sandeh.

The White Lotus Meditation Centre was one of the best places me and my wife stayed in in Bali and the best one in Ubud (we got to experience three excellent accommodations there), but the White Rose Meditation Centre was the best deal by far). It is close to the main street and situated in Jalan Kajeng, where many restaurants and shops are located. Because it is 100m or so away from Jalan Kajeng and inaccessible by car, it is very, very quiet. We stayed in the majestic bungalow next to the river. The bungalow was nicely designed and spotlessly clean. One enters through a door that is decorated with a wonderful Balinese woodcutting. One is surrounded by a jungle, and the little waterfall nearby lulls one into a quiet, peaceful sleep in the very comfortable, king-sized bed. The little pool next to the bungalow provides a very welcome refreshing in lush scenery - one can't get closer to paradise. If you are not into mediation, this should not prevent you from staying there. Sadeh, the owner, offers classes, but does by no means push guests to participate. I did participate, however, and thoroughly enjoyed the way she guided the meditations. Sadeh is a very nice, helpful and interesting person with a good intuition concerning her guests' needs - she is great to talk to and, if desired, will introduce you to esoteric service providers like a traditional healer, but will not disturb you if you need to be by yourself. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but a yummy and inexpensive breakfast delivered to you is only a phonecall away - Sadeh provides a menu. We found this to be a plus, because we were not limited to pre-arranged options. It also worth mentioning that Sadeh is very conscious about Bali's environment and offers filtered water instead of the nasty plastic bottles supplied in other locations. For us, this was a definite plus. As I read a complaint about bad Wifi reception somewhere, I should mention that if this ever was a problem, it is not anymore. All in all, we found the White Lotus Yoga retreat fantastic value for money, and hope that we will be able to stay there again in the not too distant future!

Sandeh & the White Lotus are very special indeed! She has been an integral part of Ubud’s conscious community for over a decade and provides a magical open-air meditation/yoga space on the 3rd floor of the main building which overlooks the jungle and waterfalls! She greeted us in person & got us settled in. Next she provided us with info/recommendations on restaurants and all of the upcoming conscious community events and locations in town. Then filled us in on everything that happens at White Lotus (meditations, yoga, music ect) and made sure we were completely set up for the week! Her warm hospitality made me feel like part of her family! I plan to go back and stay with her again next year! She even connected us with a very special individual named Gede Made Suastika (his WhatsApp is +62 857-2906-3950) his is a Balinese Priest/ Shaman/ Guide & Driver. I highly recommend you reserve his service for at least 1 full day (less than 40 bucks) and have him take you to the waterfall temple for a sacred ceremonial cleansing in the falls & off the tourist track to more remote temples and beautiful nature places! This gem is only 150 metres from the centre of town but you feel like you are in your own private piece of paradise. 3 villas make you feel welcomed and easy to relax in.There is not the distraction of too many other people, hence you feel it's personal magic. First and best part is the warm welcome you receive from Host Sandeh. Your villa is very cosy with a luxurious bed. Then you will be wowed by the birds chirruping, the butterflies, the gentle breeze and the soothing sounds of the waterfall. Sandeh has an amazing space dedicated to yoga and meditation and as well very patient and encouraging if you are a beginner. The small pool for cooling off in and sun lounge which I had to myself was a bonus. then when you feel like popping out to eat or shop or have a massage it's virtually a minute to do so. Surprisingly you don't hear the bustle, the motorbikes, the frequent tooting of the traffic. But the sound of water flowing and the distant beating of drums at a temple or festivity. If you want pure peace, it's here.

We loved staying at White Lotus!! The owner, Sandeh, helped us book an amazing spiritual guide/priest/driver/new friend and also helped to personally make our experience at a holy water temple simply incredible by allowing us to borrow her sarongs. What an experience!! Our room was comfortable, air conditioned, and we didn't have any issues at all! Loved the waterfall behind the house; it was the perfect place to meditate! Far enough away from the main streets but so so close to Ubud Central! Sandeh went above and beyond for us and we will absolutely be back to stay with her again!! --Lauren

I toke one meditation class conducted by the owner of the place and loved it. The place is also very warm and beautiful. The price for the classes are very reasonable. The owner is also very experienced and very friendly.

I found out of White Lotus by accident, while visiting Ubud. The house is gorgeous and has this special calming energy. My 2 hour chat with Sandeh brought so much love, light and inspiration! I will be happy to come back next time to join her meditation sessions.

White Lotus Meditation Centre is EXACTLY what I needed and Sandeh is the perfect host. Sandeh runs the meditation classes and owns this gorgeous abode! I woke up to butterflies fluttering around me as I drank my morning coffee and meditated. My balcony view is a rainforest and the sound of a waterfall. White Lotus Meditation Centre is within 10-25 minutes of walking distance to all the top yoga places too (Intuitive Flow, Yogabarn, etc). Right down the path, there's Savannah Moon Restaurant, who make scrumptious healthy food fast! Can't forget Golden Hands (2 min walk from White Lotus!) where you can get a one-hour massive for around AU$12!!!! (140,000 RP). Sandeh's meditation classes are amazing and I definitely recommend her silent meditation day on the first Sunday of any month. I did it and learnt so much! Sandeh has so much knowledge and wisdom, and you won't stay here without leaving feeling relaxed and on a new path. ?

I was looking for a meditation class not yoga. It was a little hard to find such, but I'm glad I found Sandeh. Absolutely loved the heart Chakra meditation. The house is beautiful too, overlooks the green lush forest. Sandeh is amazing in the way she facilitates the class.

This little place is close to all the Ubud action but far enough away for peace and quiet. The garden room I stayed in backs onto a ravine where a waterfall flows, you can hear the waterfall sound which I found quite meditative. There is no air con but a fan is provided which I found fine for my stay. Sandeh provides fantastic service, her meditation classes are a must and I can recommend tarot card reading. For me, this helped me align my priorities for the next year. Breakfast isn't available at the property but a lovely little restaurant down the road, Savannah Moon is fantastic to eat at or just a little further and you are in the centre of Ubud where its a vegetarian / vegan's delight! Sandeh's driver, Gede, picked me up from the airport and everything ran really smoothly. He is also a very good source of local knowledge and Balinese culture.

From the moment I first noticed White Lotus Yoga & Meditation Centre in TripAdvisor, I did not have second thoughts about staying elsewhere and booked the whole one week stay here. I knew this was going to be enchanting stay. Little did I know that this was exactly what anyone needs who would want to visit Ubud and Stay. What do I say about Sandeh !! A blessed human being with abundance of knowledge and wisdom in Spiritual World. Our conversations were extremely delightful. I also participated in the Mon, Tue and Thursday Meditation Sessions. A True experience It was. When it comes to Stay I had booked the Jasmine room, which also comes with a day bed. Such a peaceful place for meditation and some solo time. Room was very clean and best part was the running water which was drinkable. I would highly recommend White Lotus and looking forward to be back to this experience soon.

Set 300m from the hustle and bustle of Ubuds main roads, White Lotus is a tranquil paradise- you'd swear you were in the middle of the lush forest. From a romantic 4 poster bed to day bed, plunge bath to cool down, air con to refresh you, this place has it all. I will definitely be back but next time will book longer than the 3 days. I loved it so much I wanted to extend (& you will too!) but as it only has the 3 delightful rooms it was already booked out. But even then my gracious host Sandeh helped me organise something else close by, still nice, but not a patch on White Lotus. The photos will show how you are surrounded by the forest, green everywhere, bird song and trickling water in the plunge pool complete the sensory delight. It's everything the mad crush of Bali isn't, a beautiful place to recharge, reconnect with your special someone and relax before going back to your busy life. 5 stars!

We stayed one week at the White Lotus Yoga & Meditation Centre and we keep in mind such a memorable memory. Sandeh which is the owner of the place makes everything for us to be comfortable and to feel like at home and even more !! I had the opportunity of spending a whole day meditating with her and a group, this was so great !!! In fact my stay in Bali took another dimension with this experience of one week there.
