amazing 17 days spent diving at Raja Ampat with PAPEX & Coralia LOB. The environment in PAPEX is quiet & serene. we had a great time watching the stars at night & the soft blue glow of algae in the water from our pondok. the house reef is full of life as we seen many sharks, eels, stingrays and even dolphins passing by. there are a lot of butterflies as well 😍

The most friendly resort we've ever been to. Everyone has a smile on their face, and our dive guide Juliet was so much fun. The diving is outstanding - prestine reefs and an abundance of marine life. Definitely deserving of the title Best Dive Resort 2019!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Some of the worlds best diving. Well organised. If you wish to visit the true Papuan culture and explore the underwater world whilst living in a beautiful remote island this is the place to be. Beach bungalows are also amazing.

Absolutly beautiful Resort! Amazing, super friendly & funny Dive Guides with a looot of knowledge! Most of the Dive Sites are max. a 30 min. Boatride away, so perfectly located. They're doing a fantastic enviornmental work & work with the local community! So absolutely 100 % to recommend! Describe the underwater world? Don't ask me to describe paradise 🙂!...

This place is truly amazing! The team is excellent , run by APO who is on hand the entire time, everything runs smoothly and you know what is happening all the time. A very professional team, great dive and snorkel instructors and some of the best diving sites in the world! The accommodation is wonderful and you wake up to an incredible view every morning! The home reef is beautiful and it’s wonderful to swim around in the afternoons! Great team, we loved our stay and we will be back! Just a little advice, mix up the breakfast and give a few more options. Thank you for a wonderful holiday …….

Papua Explorers Resort is right in the heart of Raja Ampat, with all iconic and epic dive sites just a short boat ride away but it offers more than just that. The resort and bungalows are stylish but built with sustainability in mind. The food exceeded my expectations with Hamdi and the chef easily adapting to my vegetarian diet. I spent a wonderful week there, full of amazing underwater discoveries. The sheer number of species blows your brain away. Thanks to Beto, the dive guide, I improved my currents diving skills. I also did a Nitrox certification, so cool. Apo, the director, runs a tight ship, the dive centre and the whole resort tick like a clockwork. Everyone knows what to do and is incredibly helpful and welcoming. Travelling solo, in fresh post-pandemic time, has its challenges, but Papex team made everything easy and safe for me. Thank you and hope to be back one day! If you can, go now, before everyone is back. You will have Raja practically to yourself!

Me and my wife stayed at Papua Explorers for two weeks and the resort is amazing. They will help you from arrival at the airport untill your first step in your spacious bungalow and of course during your whole stay. The team is incredible friendly, very helpful and always charming, the western and turkish inspired food is incredible tasty. Diving is great there of course! The dive team, guides and captain know exactly what they're doing and you feel safe even in strong currents because they brief well and take care of you. The free Nitrox is a game changer for more than two dives a day and we were very happy to dive with Nitrox. We will highly recommend the resort and can only recommend to stay with them!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Papua Explorers and we could have chosen a better place for it. It was so wonderful - the place, the bungalow, the location, the sea, marine life, corals, fishes but most importantly, the staff and services were exceptional. The director pampered us never and organized amazing dives. It worth every pennies !!!

I spent one week at Papua Explorers Resort and was impressed by the friendly and excellent treatment. The facilities are ecological and nice, the bungalows comfortable and well equipped. I had a wonderful holiday, the food was very good, the diving sites are amazing. I can highly recommend this place.
