We didn't stay at this hotel, but on a recommendation, we had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Be warned, by Sri Lankan standards this was expensive, approaching London prices. That said, it was worth it. The food was excellent, as was the service. The menu provided a good choice of international cuisine. The setting is an old colonial building with beautiful wooden floors and furnishings, whiteite tablecloths and an unhurried, relaxed atmosphere.
Unfortunately, there's no air conditioning, but you can't have everything!
