Rukshan is an incredible, heart centered, fun teacher. He teaches his classes from his beautiful shala which is nestled amongst beautiful Sri Lanka forest and which also has incredible, pure positive energy there.
Rukshan has so much knowledge and the willingness to share this knowledge with all people who want to learn from him. His classes are inspiring, well balanced and a lot of fun. He has such a genuine way with people and I am so grateful for all that I have learned from him and been able to experience in my life because of him. Namasta Chanaka Rukshan?????
Carolin Hapke
Amazing and beautiful place up on a hill in Mirissa with great and well balanced classes.
Very professional teaching and perfect space for peaceful meditation surrounded by nature and a nice view to the ocean.
Love it!
Karoline Hestnes
I had 3 great sessions at Rukshan Yoga in Mirissia. The Shala is located close to a hilltop with ocean view and is a great space to practise yoga ?? Guru Rukshan has knowledge about different styles of yoga like hatha, ashtanga, vinyasa ++ and then we also practised the 5 Tibetan Rites in one of the combination classes in the morning. 2 hours practise with tea after the session for 1900 rupiees was really good value for money ?? His assistent teacher was also great in her assisting to get you into the right positions and for the relaxation session at the end of each class. Since the Shala is halfway open in the outdoors you might be challenged by mosquitos but they have repellent to offer you, so remember to put on before class ?? Looking forward to come back. Namaste from Karoline from Norway

This was my first approach with yoga and I could not expect anything better than Rukshan lessons. Every lesson is different from the other and Rukshan and his family make us feel confortable and peaceful. ???
Inga Feldmann
It was the best yoga I've done while traveling Sri Lanka.
Every class was different, challenging and rewarding. The tea and cookies after the class gave a great opportunity to talk, exchange experience and relax. I will come back!
