Ban's Diving Resort

I can't begin to explain how much I enjoyed my stay at Bans and my Diving course. I did the open water course, advanced open water and Rescue course with Bans and had such a fun time. My instructor for the OW and AOW was Darren,and he was absolutely amazing - he made the course engaging and interesting, and also knew how to keep it light - I haven't laughed so much in a long time! He was also super caring of all of his students - and knew how to tailor the course to the inviduals personal needs. I am forever grateful for the passion for diving he helped me to find, and sincerely reccomend him to anyone who's planning to do the Open water and Advanced Course with Bans. For my Rescue course, I was taught by a very kind, funny and knowledgeable instructor named Carsten. Again, there was just the right amount of laughing and learning, and I had seriously good fun. Besides the great courses that Bans offers, the resort is clean, luxurious and offers lots of things to do. There are four pools, one of which has a cafe next to it (super nice to head down to for a sunbathe and a coffee after diving) and nice restaurant with friendly staff who work very hard. The reception staff were also super friendly and accomodating, and they organised a shuttle bus (free of charge) to take me back to the pier. Therlaundry service for a good price, you can hire scooters to take you round koh tao, there are multiple bans 24 hour shops around the resort, and there is even a little salon on site where you can go to get your nails done or hair cut; bans offers it all. My room was cleaned everyday and had everything you needed in it, and the aircon worked well. It's worth noting that you get these rooms at a discounted price if you do the diving courses with bans. Overall I am super happy with my stay and will never forget my time there! Thank you, Bans :)

I feel so much happy and have fun with this course in this school. The Trainers (Nina and ROJ) are very experienced and teach with care and so much energy. I think i will surly learn about advance course in this place.

First time doing scuba diving at KOH TAO. It’s such a memorable experience and definitely comeback for advanced courses here. Done the course with kru Nina and kru Roj which I recommended both of them if anyone interested to learn scuba.

My girlfriend is a divemaster and took me here to try it out. I was scared at first and unsure about diving, but i had an amazing diving teacher called Neil. He made it feel safe and explained everything so well! (Would recommend him to anyone) The other people like boat master Pierre was also so nice and took good care of us I'm definitely coming back here to dive and hopefully see these people again 🍸🤿🍤

Nice place and nicer teachers! The hotel service is nice and the place is very beautiful! There are many Restaurants nearby to eat it tastes great!!we have a very nice teacher that is funny that makes everything even better.

Excellent services with professional diving instructor. Highly recommended for those who want to study diving. The restaurant is real nice which turns to bar at night. The room is very clean and nice vibes inside the resort. Perfect stay as a couple.

Had a really nice experience making my open water course, and advanced water course. The monitors are really professional, as i weite this there is a german, hebrew, english and French speaking monitor.

Best place to dive in the Koh Tao/Samui/Phangan islands. Great stay and excellent classes. Maria, our instructor was great, accomodations weren’t that close to the diving site but they had golf karts that took you there. There is also a very good gym (costs 150 baht to enter) if you’re into that stuff.

After I already did my Open Water certification in Europe, I wanted to do the Advanced on top in Koh Tao. The instructor Darren was recommended to me by a friend and I was not disappointed! I couldn't have imagined a better instructor: he takes away your worries and fears, likes to explain things twice and three times and leaves room for mistakes! On top of that he’s not forgetting the fun! I’ve laughed so much during our course. I would highly recommend to dive with Darren! Also Bans is a big, well organized diving school, with good equipment and a fantastic huge resort with four different pools and their bar right on the beach. Thank you so much, Darren! Can’t wait to do a Fun Dive with you!

Vistied Koh Tao for the first time, and Ban's Diving resort to follow the padi open water course. Great instructors, great practice pools, lovely hotel and great learning experience. Def come here if you want to learn how to dive!!
