Koh Tao Simple Life Resort

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to all of the main bars and shops.. Ohoo, behind the desk was so welcoming and helped with any of our problems straight away which contributed to the comfort of our stay. The pool was lovely and clean and overall it’s great value for money! Possibly one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip.

Very good location. Staff were lovely and very helpful, as were the restaurant staff. The breakfast was not great though and there was always a lot of flies. The cocktail and dinner food was good. The rooms were basic but clean so perfect for a short stay. The pool area really needs updated and cleaned. One man (not sure if he was staff or guest) washed his snorkels and diving suit in the pool water!!

Regardless of the stormy season, I decided to take a holiday on the island of Koh Tao. To get there you can contact the Lomprahya Ferry agency in Bangkok or Hua Hin. Unfortunately, we had to take the 60 seater speedboat instead of the publicized Catamaran from the beach town of Chumpon on a bumpy sea but arrive safely at the pre-booked Simple Life Resort. My room was upgraded to a king size bedand faced the swimming pool. The room was very clean and equipped with air-conditioning, a fridge and a TV. Wifi available. English Breakfast was included at their roadside restaurant. The reception was very friendly and helpful. It is only a 3 minute walk to the long stretched beach with crystal clear Gulf of Siam water. The seaside road is filled with restaurants, coffee shops, massage parlors and tattoo shops. The food choice is enormous. I stayed 10 days and enjoyed every day of my stay! I will be back!

Great room with pool view. Staff are really pleasant and helpful. However restaurant only offers 2 choices at breakfast, rice soup or American style. This gets boring after a few days. Hotel is clean and in a good location for shops and sairee beach. Nice pool. Many things on island closed due to Covid

Horrible. One of the worst resorts on the island. The most disgusting staff I have seen in a hotel. The cashier was picking his nose as we paid the bill at the restaurant. Looked like he was drugged out. We booked for five nights and stayed one. Would avoid. Better to sleep on the beach.

Great location/ short walk to the beach and main strip of bars. Nice room with everything you need. Had a free shuttle pick up from the pier and arrived to friendly staff. Restaurant attached so we had free breakfast and had lunch there. Lots to choose from. Pool area is nice but shaded half the day.

Our stay at the Simple Life resort was great! The staff was super accommodating and pre prepared breakfast for us when we had an early dive the next day. They also extended our check out time to accommodate our diving schedule. The location was perfect and the rooms were very clean!

It was conveniently located a couple of blocks from the beach. It was quiet, the staff was friendly and the room was large, clean and comfortable. They have a pool and a nice spa. During the day there was a lot of construction noise but this is due to an expansion of the hotel for power. I wish they meant it will be completed relatively soon. It was a great experience.

I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! If you want to stay in Sairee Beach in Koh Tao this is the perfect place. It’s far enough you don’t hear the partying but it’s close enough to walk to everything. This hotel made our time in Koh Tao brilliant. When we visit Koh Tao again we will definitely stay here again. The staff are super friendly, always greeting you in the morning and evening, fresh bottled water every morning even if you don’t have your room cleaned they leave it outside. Very clean! Free ferry pickup which was very easy. It’s definitely worth the cost to stay here! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Right opposite Sairee Beach, the resort is bang in the middle of the junction with a 7/11 barely 100 m from it. Accessible, clean with enough amenities. For food, there were enough restaurants nearby to satiate hunger via multiple cuisines. They did not have massages though which was surprising.
