I am actually not sure I can accurately describe how wonderful this place is. Think of all possible superlative praise, it will fit the Amanpuri. The location is great. The resort sprawls over a few wooded hills overlooking the shining Andaman Sea. The bay where the lobby, the main pool and the restaurants are located has probably the best beach on Phuket. With its soft sand, palm trees and giant rounded holders it reminded me of the Seychelles. The light Thai architecture of the pool area, with its wooden pavilions and swooping roofs transports you into an exotic Asian dreamland. Our villa, we got upgraded to a private compound, was just indescribable. We had over a 1000 sqm meters to ourselves, with a big pool, a dining pavilion, a pavilion for drinks and entertainment, our own house with the bedroom and the lavish bath. From the bed you could look into the garden off swaying coconut palms and the sea below. There were an additional gazillion other bedrooms placed through out the tropical gardenscapre. Better then all that though was our cook, Kh. Dang and our housekeeper, Kh. Rose. We would have liked to hire them straight away to be with us everyday of our lives. Both of them turn service into an art form. Kh. Dang's cooking was delicious and beautifully presented and Kh. Rose knew better what we needed then we did ourselves. In the evening they lit up the pool terrace with candles - and every evening the lighting scheme was a bit different. My cloth have never been so beautifully folded and never have I been greeted so graciously in the morning. Thank you both of you. We love the shop at the resort and the kind and funny Philippine lady who works there. We enjoyed the beautiful gym, which offers ocean views while you sweat on the treadmill. Go the bar for a sunset drink. Kh. Golf is gifted mixologist. His dirty Martinis are spot on. Because I liked them so much, he created a little gift bag for me, the day we left. It included all the ingredients to make my own dirty Martini, Golf-style at home. Such a thoughtful and wonderful thing to do. The staff at the restaurants were great as well. We had some good laughs with Joy and Luck. Thank you to the Italian chef Lucca too for the great white truffle lunch on our last day there. I will review the Italian restaurant and Lucca's cooking separately. They deserve it. Overall we had a magnificent experience. I have nothing at all I did not love. We felt at home, surrounded by wonderful, kind, funny and helpful people who were all trying to make our days as memorable as possible. Kopkhunmaaaaak krap!

This place had been a dream destination for me. Luckily, there’s the recent Closer-to-home campaign which upgraded me to the Ocean Pool Pavilion. The service was undoubtedly incredible, from the first step to the departure. Mum and me has booked an early trip to Krabi on the last day and we requested for an early in-villa breakfast, which had been flawlessly organized. The Khanom-Krok afternoon tea was delicious too, haven’t had good genuine Khanom-Krok for quite a while. From many beaches I had visited, I suggested that Pansea Beach is one of the best; white sand, clear water with plenty of water sports to join. The only thing I regret is I should have stayed longer. Will be back soon !

We are a large family of five people including small children who just went on a heavenly retreat vacation post Covid-19 lock down for 3 nights at Amanpuri Phuket, it was exactly what we needed and more. We booked directly through Amanpuri’s reservation team and the process couldn’t be more helpful & smooth plus the promotional rate for Thai resident was very attractive. The property is more than 30 years old, one of the very first luxury private pool villas in Thailand yet timelessly beautiful & well kept. The public areas such as lobby, restaurants and bars were just immaculately stunning since the first moment we arrived.
Amanpuri definitely stood the test of time and it can be seen by rich & mature tropical landscape surrounding by majestic hills & gorgeous Andaman sea.
Our children adored Eco-Beach Centre (Kid’s Club) for 3 days straight, we have never seen them so thrilled jumping out of the beds in the morning. Amanpuri offered so much activities for family with children of all ages both within land & sea. The kids were so busy enjoying themselves and never wanted to leave.
Nonetheless services were the best Amanpuri had to offer, we loved our dedicated team of staff especially our Butlers & our private chefs who made us feel like Royalties. The team were the most memorably experiences from our entire 3 nights stay, we were definitely well pampered and well rested.
Since we’ve been back at work we often reminisce about what an amazing time we’ve had in Phuket, the only regret that we had was we could have stayed longer....

Returning to Amanpuri for four nights for my BD at Amanpuri, my experience was wonderful. I’m not blogger or instagramer who gets free room. But a returning guest in the past 20 years, Sea view villa was spacious, comfortable bed, great facilities; beautiful gym and spa, amazing restaurants. Hotel staff were amazing! Andre always checked on me that I was having wonderful time, his photography skill is beyond my expectation. Khun Annie at the spa was my therapist for the whole trip, she does not only know how to massage but also how to fix my problem and even presented the perfect massage oil. Chef Kannika the Green thumb chef who grows many veggies organically, her culinary skill is advanced...crab curry is the menu I repeatedly ordered during my visit to Buabok Restaurant. Khun Luck is super experienced server who knows best ingredients of the day, she fixed my hungover with food like a magic! At Arva, the genius Chef Luca spent time during lockdown developing the best sourdough focaccia I’ve ever had...his food and playing are superb! Dr. Pop at wellness center gave me 121 stretching lesson, within an hour she not only provided the lesson but also gave helpful tips for me to do it by myself at home. Khun Mai&Khun Fon at the bar were one of the best mixologists. Maddie checked on me everyday if I needed anything. Khun Franck was very kind to me during the stay, and ensured that I had such wonderful BD celebration at Aman standard. Khun Jane, Khun Max, Khun Joy, Khun Jin, and many hotel staff especially Khun Khun on the beach that I am sorry that I could not memorize all the names were lovely and did their job even without asking.
Timing was uncanny, the new GM Khun Nicolas arrived a day after I left Amanpuri, I wish I could tell you in person that you have the right people on your bus, your staff not just “stay”, but they “say” positive things about being a part of Amanpuri family, and most importantly they “strive” at their best to deliver fantastic time to the guests. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart!
