I just took my very first class last week and immediately after class I signed up for unlimited monthly class package because I knew I wouldn't be able to get enough! First of all, when you walk in and look around and you see nothing but people with amazing bodies you know IT MUST WORK! Secondly, I literally was a walk-in off of the street and went inside to ask a few questions and the font desk staff was SO FRIENDLY and WELCOMING and helped me schedule my first class for that same day...honestly, it was the best first impression that I've ever had at any business. I was a little bit intimidated because I had never done traditional Pilates and had no idea what a megaformer was but so far I've taken class with two different teachers and they have BOTH been incredible. I know I'm raving and raving but I'm somebody who literally HATES going to the gym and would torture myself for not going and on the days I would drag myself there it felt like punishment and would be bored to tears. These classes FLY by and I don't even know if they have a clock up because I've never wanted to look...too busy working muscles I didn't even know I had! I can't say enough fabulous things about everybody at this business and the workout they provide! Happy new member!

This is the best workout and best gym ever! I found it on ClassPass about a year ago when I started working out for the first time after a really bad arm injury (and also needed to get in shape for my wedding) and it changed my life! The classes are super challenging at first but when I switched from sporadically signing up through ClassPass to getting a monthly membership and going consistently I saw dramatic results. All of the instructors are awesome, especially Yumi's 5 and 6 am classes. I'm not even a morning person but I go to sleep excited to wake up and go workout, which is definitely not typical of most workouts I've tried!

I love the Studio! Every instructor is friendly and helpful. The staff that works the front is so awesome as well. The workout is the best and most effective workout I know!!!

You know you've struck gold when you're excited to workout after a long day. I've been going to the studio mdr for years and it's the only workout I do. The best part about this workout is that it NEVER gets easier. You'll walk out drenched in sweat and shaking, in that I just had the best workout of my life kind of way... every time. But my favorite thing abut the studio mdr is the amazing community. You see instructors taking each other's classes and strangers becoming friends. If it's your first class bring a towel, water bottle and wear toe socks (trust).

Now that Im in my 40's I needed something to make me feel stronger and leaner without hurting my joints and risking an injury yet I still wanted to feel like I got my butt kicked. The Studio has done this for me! I feel fantastic and everyday that I go I'm surprising myself with what my body can do and how far I have come. I want to especially give a great big shout out to Casey the instructor who keeps me motivated and believes in me!

I was on vacation the last week of April and found a Pilates studio in Puerto Vallarta. It was an interesting experience. I was assuming that all Pilate’s classes are the same as The Studio. I was so wrong! I decided to look for a studio to work out because I would hear other clients come in from their vacation saying that they had lost strength etc. I decided that I have been faithful to The Studio MDR for a year and I wasn't about to lose what I have worked so hard for. The class was interesting and it was too easy for this studio warrior. I was talking to another American Pilates warrior after class that thought that the class was easy as well. As we were discussing the class the studio instructor overheard us complaining about the class. Yikes! None the less, I returned on Wednesday for a second workout. The teacher made the class harder but it was by no way as difficult or challenging as our workouts at The Studio. I was actually kind of amused when the instructor announced a two minute plank. I was thinking "ha" I trained for a 5 minute plank its still too easy. It was a fun and interesting experience. It made me realize how strong I have become in the past 12 months and didn't even realize how hard and intense we train. I have taken for granted the great team that is in place at The Studio. But not anymore. It was an interesting experience in a foreign country (btw Mexican women are very into reformer Pilates) I just want to say thank you to all the great instructors at The Studio MDR. The Studio MDR clients are like Gladiators but with cuter armor (gloves and toe sox’s). The Studio MDR inspires me everyday to be my best (kylosophy) and still be strong enough to hold a 2 minute plank and think “Too Easy" while on vacation.

Apparently it's mandatory to arrive 10 minutes prior to class if it's your first time. The welcome email (which is quite lengthy) recommends it but does not state it's required. I arrived 5 minutes before and I was turned away. I called ahead of time to pay and no one instructed me to arrive 10 minutes early. Almost 20 years in the fitness business as a trainer, coach, owner and Kinesiology graduate it still didn't matter. I get it, policies, but they really need to get the staff in sync. I'm sure it's a great workout!

This studio is the absolute best! I drive 2 hours (roundtrip) 4x a week to take class! I originally lived close by and when I moved I tried the studio near me in Pasedena -- I quickly learn just how important the energy and trainers are to this workout ! I got injured twice in 2 months at the new studio, didn't lose a single pound, and wasn't treated well. Lisa is an amazing owner and all the trainers I've experience have been caring and knowledgeable. Working with Ky has been a dream and is worth driving hours a day for! I never thought I'd be driving hours to go to any studio but its worth it for this workout and the results !

I love this place! Yes, I am a newbie, but no one here made me feel that way, which was so great for this mommy getting back into the hang of things (FINALLY). I'm happy to have found a new fitness home and anticipate great things!! 10/10 would recommend!!

Great place to get a well rounded workout! Friendly staff and instructors. For any guys looking into this studio, don't let the pink fool you. This will be one of the most challenging workouts you have ever done.

The Studio MDR is a game change to LIFE!! A huge supporter of this studio - there is seriously no other studio like them!! Lisa, the owner is fantastic and adorable and the staff is incredibly helpful and supportive as well! For a person such as myself with an incredibly busy schedule, the studio offers so many work out classes that there is no excuse to not work out! Stephanie, who works the front desk who is now a new trainer is so sweet - take her class if you get the chance! I primarily take Ky's classes (obsessed - the man is a workout GOD!) but all the instructors are amazing! Jessi's Ass n Abbs class on saturday's is a killer! Try any class and you'll instantly fall in love with everyone there, make great friendships and not only gain more confidence but also find a new place to call home.

Dana, Jesse, Mary, and Lindsay are all the most amazing instructors! I drive from Hollywood to MDR 4x a week just to have them kick my booty into shape. I love love love this studio. It's my favorite workout! I've lost 25lbs and I have my body back. I'm very happy!

I have been coming here for almost 4 years!!! I love it!! It is an incredibly intense work out. It has helped me get back in shape after 2 babies. The trainers are amazing and always make sure your form is perfect! If you want to be in the best shape of your life then The studio(mdr) is the place for you!!

One of the most challenging workouts I have done but wow! Quick results, long lean muscles. Great hands on instructor's. 50 minutes flies by. Lisa and Kenny (the owners) are great, the entire staff is actually.
