Yogamaya is made of people from all walks of life who practice yoga that’s rooted in alignment, grounded by self study, and inspired by truth and possibility. We are united by our love for asana, kirtan and spiritual teachings all under one roof – and we love experiencing those things together. Yoga is a practice of self study. But we believe that connecting with each other on this journey is the key to a deeper connection with ourselves, and everything we’ve created is to help foster these connections. Through movement, stillness, song, silence. And everything in between. Inspired by living temples in and integrating spiritual teachings into daily life, Bryn and Stacey dreamed of a space where they could teach what inspired them and offer the students and yoga community transformative experiences with Swamis, teaching scholars, and Kirtan leaders of the highest caliber. In 2009, their student Glenn mentioned his own dream of opening a yoga studio. After a career on Wall Street, he was ready for change. The three realized that their combined knowledge, experience and passion would make it possible to turn their vision into reality, and Yogamaya was born in 2010.
