This is such a positive and refreshing atmosphere! Every time we go we learn something new and it helps carry us through stressful times and empowers us to become truly compassionate people. There is absolutely no judgement, all are welcomed, and no one is trying to convince or recruit anyone to Buddhism which I love. All religions and atheists are welcome. I’m an atheist and I don’t feel uncomfortable one bit. They teach on the philosophy of Buddhism and guide you through meditations. I’m so grateful for KMC and for all the people there - it’s so nice being around compassionate people who truly believe in the power of love! Plus they provide vegetarian/vegan friendly snacks so it’s very veg* friendly

Every KMC I visit I end up saying it's my favorite -- that is the power of these spaces created for everyone to find inner peace. This Center is full of kind and loving people and I highly recommend you visit.

Beautiful new center that is so sparkling clean and smells so good of the fresh paint and woodwork. Noontime meditation today was just what I needed to lighten my spirit. I've been studying dharma with this Center for at least 15 years off and on and am so grateful to have this in my life. If you haven't seen the new center yet, do so soon. You will love it!

Every time I go the teachings always speak to me. The staff is so very friendly. It felt like home the first time I went.

KMC New Mexico is a very active center with many classes to offer for everyone. I have had the opportunity to engage in many retreats at the center and would strongly encourage everyone to do the same. The introduction to Buddhism class presented some simple meditation techniques, a mantra, and four thoughts to contemplate and take notice of throughout the day. My experience has been one of progressive change and expanding interest in the importance of recognizing the beauty and opportunity in the moment I am immediately experiencing since taking the class. It has been a powerful experience for me, and I invite anyone interested in a new way of experiencing life to explore this option.

I found exactly what I was looking for here. I take both the Sitting Meditation, T'ai Chi and have completed the Intro to Buddhism class, taught by Lama Palden. I just finished up the first class Indruction to Tibetian Buddhism with Lama Palden. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in beginning a Buddhist journey or would just like to know more about how it all works. I didn’t want to do it alone any longer and being part of the Sangha has helped me bring it together. I’m continuing on to my Buddhist Career class in April. Thank again Lama Palden for all you instruction and getting my name right after only 2 classes!

I have been attending Chenrezig pujas, taken the introduction to Buddhism class with Lama Palden and meditation classes with Lama Dorje, and one puja with Lama Thubten Dorje Gyaltsen Rinpoche. The teachings have been immediately practical to my life and cleared up some misunderstandings I have had about Vajrayana.

It's an Authentic Tibetan Buddhist Gonpa and the memebers are beyond amazing. Everyone will welcome you with open arms and open hearts.
