Kadampa Meditation Centre Hong Kong was established to provide people in Hong Kong with the opportunity to learn about and practice Buddha’s teachings. These teachings are presented in an accessible manner that can easily be integrated into our modern lives and are perfect for anyone seeking solutions to the problems of everyday life.
Our year-round programme is open for everyone – Buddhists or non-Buddhists, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. We offer a full range of drop-in meditation classes, weekend courses, meditation retreats, empowerments and regular chanted prayers, and special events with senior guest Teachers.
We have created a peaceful city sanctuary located in the heart of Causeway Bay. The Centre is run by volunteers who themselves are dedicated practitioners. Please feel free to drop in for a visit to experience our warm and welcoming spiritual community. In addition to the beautiful meditation room, you can also check out our bookstore and gift shop, or just spend time in our comfortable hangout area.
Kadampa Meditation Center Hong Kong (KMC HK) was established to provide people in Hong Kong with the opportunity to learn about and practice Buddha’s teachings. To fulfill this aim we have created a peaceful city sanctuary located in the heart of Causeway Bay. Based on the books of the contemporary Buddhist meditation master, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, we present Buddha’s teachings in an accessible manner that can easily be integrated into our modern lives.
Established nearly 13 years ago, many Hong Kong people currently participate in our drop-in meditation classes and advanced study programmes at the main Centre in Causeway Bay and the branches throughout the city.KMC HK is run by volunteers who themselves are dedicated practitioners, and we have a warm and welcoming community.
