Ohmsantih Yoga Studio

OhmSantih Yoga is a boutique yoga studio located in the eclectic Kampong Glam neighbourhood, along the iconic shophouse stretch that is Bussorah Street. Established in 2011, OhmSantih Yoga conducts classes at its 1600-square foot space comprising two dedicated studios and shower facilities.

The practice of yoga is a personal journey. One’s learning pace and progress varies according to factors such as age, level of focus and commitment as well as physical condition and needs. Without adequate supervision and guidance from qualified teachers, students often struggle to keep up in an overcrowded classroom, practice with incorrect form and breathing, or worse, injure themselves.

The term “one size fits all” does not apply at OhmSantih Yoga. Instead, a personalised teaching approach is advocated. Every teacher makes the effort to know each student’s strengths, weaknesses and learning needs, and ensures their students’ practice and overall well-being improves steadily with time.

At OhmSantih Yoga, students will be able to obtain an authentic and in-depth understanding of yoga. Beyond mastery of poses, they will also learn about the right breathing techniques that go along with them, how to promote recovery of personal injuries as well as address specific physical and psychological goals.

In ensuring personal attention, helpful adjustments and an engaging learning environment, something that is incredibly hard to find in the local yoga scene, every class is kept to a maximum ratio of one teacher to six students. The OhmSantih brand of yoga is particular in its delivery of knowledge and the style of classes is akin to the close mentorship between a guru and student.
