We at Hatha Yoga World have been imparting Yoga training, workshop and residential retreats since 2003. Our centres are at two places in, Rishikesh & Dharamshala. More than being a commercial venture, ours is a social endeavour which combines philosophy, culture, tradition, charity, and world peace. We strive to spread the knowledge of Yoga to all parts of the world so that we may all live in harmony with ourselves and with nature. Taking inspiration from the ancientn sciences and texts, we have developed a fine synthesis of Yoga with a modern outlook, which helps students make valuable adjustments to their current lifestyle and also contribute positively to the society at large. How can I become a Hatha Yoga teacher? Students have to undergo a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Course that is certified by Yoga Alliance, USA. When they graduate as teachers, they are confident in giving instructions, performing demonstrations, and making hands-on adjustments to body postures (asanas). The teaching program focuses on providing students with opportunities to develop their skills in all aspects of Hathayoga. Students also attend lectures about Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy and Physiology so that they can fully understand the correlation between asanas and the musculoskeletal structure of the human body. Is there a more advanced teacher training program? Yes we also offer a 300-hour course that takes a deeper dive at asanas and introduces students to other forms of meditation. Our yoga practice is blended with other Vedic sciences to provide wholesome knowledge and enlightenment to the students. The program empowers students who wish to become experts and open their own Yoga studio or therapy centre.
