Established in 2005, Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation Center, nestled within 3 acres of forested land, occupies the highest point on Parsik Hill in New Mumbai. Its strategic location offers swift access to the city center, catering to individuals leading bustling lives in the metropolitan area. Simultaneously, its pristine and unspoiled hilly surroundings provide a tranquil and serene atmosphere ideal for meditation.
Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation Center boasts a spacious two-story building capable of accommodating over 100 students comfortably. Complete with self-contained air-conditioned residential quarters, a dining hall, and a fully air-conditioned meditation hall, it also features a Pagoda with over 100 cells for individual meditation. Additionally, an elevator is available for the convenience of the elderly, pregnant individuals, and students with health concerns.
In addition to its 10-day Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation programs, the center features a separate wing dedicated to conducting regular short courses for returning students. Furthermore, it offers a designated area for one-day courses, held every Sunday specifically for returning students. Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation Center is a two storied spacious building accommodating approx. 100+ students. The Center is equipped with self contained residential rooms, dining hall & fully air conditioned meditation hall. In addition to 10-day meditation area, the center has a separate wing where regular short courses are conducted for old students and has a dedicated area for one day courses which are held on every Sunday for old students.

Courses for New Students at Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation Center:
Ten-day Courses at Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation Center: These introductory courses to Vipassana Meditation provide a step-by-step teaching of the technique over a period of 10 full days. The courses commence with a registration period and orientation from 2 to 5 pm, followed by rigorous meditation sessions. On the 11th day, the courses conclude by 7:30 am. Children’s Courses at Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation Center: Specifically tailored for children aged 10 to 17, these courses are ideally attended with the presence of an adult meditator from the same tradition. A variety of courses are exclusively available for Old Students, defined as individuals who have completed at least one 10-day course in this tradition. These courses include short refresher courses as well as longer, more comprehensive programs. Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation Center offers the following regular courses for old students:
Short Courses at Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation Center: Held in a separate wing with a duration of 2 to 3 days, these courses are conducted twice a month. With a capacity to accommodate 30 students, they provide focused instruction. For the schedule of short courses, please refer to the Course List.
One-day Courses at Dhamma Vipula Vipassana Meditation Center: Taking place every Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm at the center, these courses feature a separate meditation hall capable of hosting 80 students. No prior experience is required.
