Komodo Dive Resort

This resort has a very intimate feel with the perfect blend of local Indonesian Dive Masters and European instructors. Guests were predominantly European and some North Americans as well. The vibe was very welcoming and every detail was taken care of by the team. We spent 5 days and by the end we felt so connected to everyone and to the place. It was truly sad to leave! Diving was the first and foremost reason for the trip and was simply stunning. The dive team took care of all the equipment rinsing and shuttling from gear house to boat. Nitrox was available as well. Tanks were well priced. The boats were the most comfortable dive boats I've ever been on, with a covered sun deck and bean bag chairs that I will be trying to re-create for my patio! The dive team did a great job of creating an itinerary of dives that got us a wide variety of sites and sea live viewing opportunities. Our guide, Akry, was so much fun! He's a relatively new dive master, but he still just lights up when he finds cool things. His enthusiasm is contagious. Accomodation: The rooms were spacious, authentic indonesian construction, yet had everything we needed or could want, including chaise lounges on the beach in front of each unit. Very quiet. Sitting out on the chaise at night and seeng the milky way and all the unfamiliar southern hemisphere stars was one of the unexpected gems of this resort, as there is so very little light pollution there! Resort is located on small sandy beach in a quite lagoon…they have 3 boats for diving and boasted of diving sites in a half a hour by boat…komodo dragon diving is very good ver liveaboard around Padar ,Komodo ,Flores..Labujan Bajo .food is corect….and fresh….we met one of the owners Stefano which was very kind to show us everything…very nice crew started with dive masters Hanki and Angel…all are very helpfull and meet our requirements…diving sites are good,lot of corals,marine lifes in some sites is boasting…full of colours..Highly recomended a liveaboard with them…it will be a very pleasent experience…..they don t have for the moment nitrox on boat …but maybe will fix it…the cabin are verywell maintained..everyday cleaned , very clean sheets..AC in every cabin….
