The Sacred Playground is a sanctuary, a refuge and a training ground for the mind, body and Soul. Located in the sacred valley, just north of Nosara, nestled amongst the jungle and amazing Nosara river. This five-acres of fruitful organic land features an open-air dinning space/gathering centre, a natural pool lotus pond, botanical garden, movement course, green houses, food forest, glamping and camping site and multiple sacred ceremony spaces.
We offer day trips, dining experiences, community days, sound ceremonies, embodiment immersions and sacred ceremonies of all kinds with weekend getaways and weekly retreats we are ready to shape shift to meet any and all of your needs.

Ceremony facilitator Michael Streda 42 born in Canada and living in Costa Rica for over 12 years
Michael has been working with healing plants for almost 15 years.
Over the last 6 years Michael has worked with over 50 people one on one and has designed a transformational ceremony with elemental instruments, music and aroma therapy, guiding people into deep journeys allowing them to work on everything from PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, certain addictions, life and career changes and expanding their consciousness.
Acting as a facilitator and working alongside 11th generation Peruvian ayahuasca shamans has helped elevate the music and ceremonies to create something very unique.
The mission is to help people bring balance to their lives, the ceremony is just the beginning, the real work comes after, in learning how to integrate the lessons into real life situations to become a better version of ourselves for ourselves and the ones we love.
When working with female participants Michael is accompanied by his partner Karol who holds space for the divine feminine bringing perfect balance to the ceremony.
Our accommodations are Glamping style tents set amongst the trees with breathtaking valley views and amazing sunrises.
Surrounded by pure nature and 1 minute walk from the Nosara River you’ll feel connected and held by the surroundings. With the birds singing above you and the monkeys howling in the back ground, there is no better place to relax and rejuvenate while grounding yourself.
The tents have single and or queen mattresses, comfortable bamboo sheets, fans and lamps, all you really need to feel at home. There are bathrooms and showers just steps from your door
Arrive mid day and enjoy all the amenities the playground has to offer including the natural pool and pond, the gardens and green houses, the swings and play ground or just relax in the lounge or in the hammocks under the mango trees. We will take care of everything. We invite you to help us pick some of the amazing ingredients as we forage in our green houses and throughout the property. Connecting with your food as it comes from the source. It couldn’t be any more farm to table. The table is actually on the farm! We create fun and delicious food for everyone to enjoy and will specialize and accommodate to all needs. This is a one of a kind experience.
Your experience starts at 2:00 pm and goes to 9pm we can include live music or a DJ and dinner is always accompanied by a bonfire. We also offer lunch time experiences as well.
