Selina Jacó & Surf school

Our stay at Selena Jaco was amazing! If you are looking for somewhere laid-back, low-key, and not super fancy and this is the place for you. It was very clean, the food was very good, and everyone who worked there was super friendly and accommodating! This is a surf and wellness hotel that caters to those who surf. There’s also yoga every morning which was amazing. Geared for the younger crowd, but my husband and I are in our 40s and we enjoyed it!

The private room we stayed in was very clean with our own private patio to hang out at. Cleaning service was great with fresh towels every day. Cool classes to attend with slckline shows at the pool. Right next to the beach for awesome sunsets. Tip: if you are driving, ask for parking lot directions. The front desk gave us the key but forgot to tell us where the parking lot is which caused us to drive around for multiple laps while being totally confused.

We loved our stay here for 8 nights! We have been doing the Selina CoLive program while here in Costa Rica. This location has been SO cool because it’s literally right on the beach. The vibes are awesome, rooms are clean and comfortable, 2 co-working spaces to choose from, awesome fitness instructors, and surfing was amazing too. Highly recommend! Great value!

First time in Costa Rica was amazing, very much due to the amazing staff at Selina in Jaco. Morgane, and Rania at reception were phenomenal. The bartenders and servers were great as well. I also can’t forget George, who worked night security. Always going above and beyond to keep us all safe (he’s an absolute beauty). My ONLY complaint here was the food. I stayed for 8 nights and I can’t name one meal I had that was anything above satisfactory. You can literally walk 30 seconds up the street, get a burger for 60% cheaper, and it’s 100% better. Not to mention, every meal I had came out bland and dry. However, the staff surrounding this place made up for it. Thanks again, and I’ll absolutely recommend Selina to anyone wanting to travel 🤟 cheers from 🇨🇦

Great location for this Selina. We enjoyed the garden and pool side. Ladies at front desk were nice and helpful. I usually like the Selina breakfast but here I found the staff at the restaurant not friendly, and they charged us an extra americano for each refill of a very small cup of filtered coffee so ended up with 15$ for two proper cups of coffee, for Costa Rica it’s too much. Unlike the other Selinas we’ve been to.
