I just returned from two weeks at Danyasa Eco Retreat in Dominical, Costa Rica. In my short time on property it became my second home. The property is very intimate and the staff is warm and welcoming. The property itself has a magical energy and the location makes it even more special. I stayed in “the womb” which is a tiny little single bed room in the back of the property. It was a perfect little zen space for me. The outdoor kitchen was right outside my room as well as the deck. I spent lots of time there sipping tea, socializing, reading, writing, and watching the sunset. The property owner Brandon was very welcoming and made me feel like apart of the Danyasa family. Alberto, Amanda, Analien, and the rest of the staff were helpful and warm as well. I took a Yoga Class and an Unleash Your Inner Goddess class (burlesque) with Nicole. Both classes were amazing! Nicole is a phenomenal instructor. She is brilliant at talking you into poses and making you feel successful. She is warm, accessible, and very knowledgable. Dominical is a developing area that is occupied by many transplants from the US and other countries. The business owners and tica’s are friendly and helpful. It’s a very safe area to visit and there are a number of beautiful sights and excursions within a short distance from the property. I made many friends quickly. Everything about my stay was perfect…
