Yoga at the Reach

Yoga at the Reach is life-changing. I'm at the beginning of the 3rd week of my 3 weeks unlimited classes for £30. I've done 7 classes in total and I honestly cannot believe the difference. I feel stronger, more energised, more flexible and younger. My posture is better and my muscle tone has already improved significantly. I can't recommend Nicola and the classes highly enough. All the teachers are lovely. They will challenge you to try harder but are mindful of any previous injuries or limitations you might have. I'm going to sign up for annual membership as I see this as an investment in my long term physical and mental well-being.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would :) Nicola is far and away the best yoga teacher I've ever found, it's a pleasure to learn from her. She is friendly, knowledgeable and knows exactly how to help each student, and will make you feel part of the little community there, as she really cares about her students. The studio is also a great space, really relaxing with plenty of space to move in. As well as yoga, the studio has workshops, retreats and gong bath sessions, so you get the chance to experience and build on more than the basic yoga practice. As I do ashtanga as my preferred yoga practice, I'm so glad to have found a place that provides the type of classes that suit me best.

I met Nicola around 8 years ago she’s always been a fantastic teacher, she prepared me for my training in India. After a 6 year break from my practice I’m now back and wondering why I ever left. I can highly recommend ‘Yoga at the Reach’. Nicola’s extensive knowledge of Ashtanga Yoga is first class.

I’ve been attending pregnancy yoga and highly recommend. The gentle physical side of the class has helped with my pregnancy aches and pains. The other side has been meeting a group of women in the same position and having that support that makes you feel less alone at a time when things are changing and can few very weird and lonely. Nicola is kind, patient and knowledgeable

I have had the pleasure of practicing at the Reach in 2022. It is a friendly studio and the support and mentoring provided by Nicola is second to none. I particularly enjoy the Ashtanga classes and especially the Mysore classes. I look forward to being back in 2023.

I've loved going to Nicola's postnatal yoga classes at the Reach, for my first child 5 years ago and again now! The post natal level one was very nurturing and gentle, perfect for the first stages of recovery after birth. Then I enjoyed level two core revitalisation which focuses on recovering the core. I've now also done two rounds of mamas and babas back to yoga. This works out the whole body and is also great for aches and pains relating to bringing up babies! The babies have had a great time socialising with each other during yoga and are mesmerised by nicola too. It's an all round winner! It's also been so nice to meet other mums and we've made some fabulous friends from going to these lessons. Thank you Nicola! X

Sheffield Knackered Mums Club Feel utterly relaxed and revived after attending the knackered mums club. It was such a lovely experience, very friendly leaders who made me feel comfortable. It was a really nice mix of different practices and the reiki was a great addition. I would thoroughly recommended to any mum. Thank you.

I have done ashtanga yoga with Nicola for years and always enjoyed it and have seen myself develop and progress with her input. More recently my husband and I did a birth rehearsal class at her lovely studio (which felt very safe and clean during this covid situation) and was enjoyable, informative, relaxing and left me and my husband feeling prepared for the birth of our baby coming up. I discovered Yoga at the Reach after searching for a pregnancy yoga class, I've since had two babies, completed pre/postnatal/baby massage and now continue with Nicolas Ashtanga yoga classes twice a week. I love Nicolas attention to detail and thorough instruction throughout the class. It's also a great workout for mind and body.

Really supportive space to learn and extend your yoga practice . Discovered my love of ashtanga by going to the beginners class. Over the years I have gone to a variety of classes and learnt how my body can extend itself. Each class is designed to cater for individual variation in experience and skill - so each class can be adapted to cater for your current skills. I am a yogi that doesn’t take myself too seriously and yoga at the reach has helped me maintain my sense of humour about myself as well as helping me reach the next level of experience I needed.
