Yoga classes with Claire are brilliantly structured, starting with an immediately relaxing introduction which puts you at ease, a considered build up of postures which progressively push your balance and stamina, and a relaxing wind-down - which encourages you to reflect upon your practice and feel good about your accomplishments that day, regardless of skill. Claire considers multiple posture options - which caters for beginners like me, as well as experienced Yogis. Each class is filled with careful explanations and reasons for each posture, coupled with insight into the history and benefits of Yoga practice as a whole. There is a strong focus on the breath throughout the practice, which both helps improve focus and stamina, but also relaxation. I always leave classes with Claire feeling relaxed and refreshed - brilliant classes!
