I've been attending weekly Reformer classes with Sarah Stonier for some years now, most recently at Chapel Allerton Pilates, and it's been a life-saver, keeping me mobile and flexible and leading an active life, even with an artificial hip and less than optimal knee joints! Sarah is so welcoming, friendly and above all knowledgeable. Her classes have room for humour and informality, along with the attention to detail she brings to the sessions. What impresses me most with Sarah, as well as the rest of the team at Chapel Allerton Pilates is the seriousness with which they take their own professional development – many weekends spent refreshing skills and learning new techniques, which inevitably feeds back into the classes. That's probably why she has such a loyal and devoted following. If you're new to Pilates or want to develop your practice then I'd strongly recommend giving CAP a try.
