I have suffered on and off with with generalised anxiety disorder for many years, and had tried many methods of coping which were either unaffected or short-lived. I joined Zeenat's eight week beginners course last autumn, and have found what I learnt (and am still learning on consecutive courses) invaluable in coping with my condition. I no longer find myself transfixed on worrying about what has happened, or what could happen, but rather content and engaged with the present and much more rational in my approach to the everyday problems life presents.
Zeenat is a very insightful teacher, who gradually introduces you to the practice of meditation, in a calm and supportive environment - She openly encourages discussion between all members of the group allowing you to support each other through the process, and is more than willing to offer individual support inside and outsides of classes.
Most of all I appreciated her honesty in sharing her own experiences with meditation, which served to highlight that progress is achievable for us all, so long as one approaches meditation with the right mindset.
I would thoroughly recommend Insight for Wellbeing to anyone who is considering beginning their meditation journey, or developing their practice.
