Pura Vida Lodge

Very cool experience. The lodge is a very cozy place to chill after the surf lessons. The whole crew is very lovely and welcoming, and some activities are organised in order to make people meet each other in a cool atmosphere. I 100% recommend if you're looking for sporty+chill holidays and good vibes ??

I've been surfing in lots of places in Europe but the Pura Vida Surf Lodge in Mimizan became my favorite place of all. The lodge with its beautiful garden offers everything you need to relax and to enjoy the sun. The setting is perfect, the hosts & crew are amazing, the waves are great and the vibes are awesome. I'm definitely coming back!

best Lodge in les landes ?? because of a delicious breakfast, a blue pool, indo boards , slack line great surf school with perfect waves in mimizan . As well as a wonderful garden with a lot of chilling area and a nice bar ! ??

We had a very nice time here! The breakfast especially the homemade bread was amazing. We enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere at the garden with a lot of activity games like pingpong and dart. The whole team here is very friendly and we felt welcome all the time! So we are sure to come here again!

Whaaaaw... If, like me, you dream of a better world, where everybody is friendly and fun and -let's face it, it' s essential- a bit crazy too, where you can play in the water like children for hours on end, where languages melt together into one adorable little mess and where only important things matter... then this is your little piece of heaven on earth. Freedom and connection find a perfect balance here, as do the flawless organisation and the go-with-the-flow-vibe. There is so much love and peace here, I almost cannot handle it ?? I love this place.

It is the atmosphere as well as the arrangement of the whole Lodge, wich makes you feel comfortable from the start, the passion and kindness of the staff and the cool and relaxed guests. When the sun is shining a package that shows how (Surfer)life should be ???????????????

Thank you for this perfect holiday. We stayed in the lodge for one week and we really enjoyed the time. Every day starts with a Yogasession with a nice and friendly teacher. Thank you for the time to relax at the river Fran! The hole lodge is a place where you feel like home. Nice and friendly people, good food, lovely fireplace an endless list for your perfect holiday ??

This place is truly amazing. ? The lodge and garden are magnificent, full of great little personal details, the breakfast is great, I loved the honesty list for the drinks, the wooden nametags, and.... this list could go on forever. Just check it out for yourself! Oh, and I almost forgot the most important, the ever enthousiastic and loving crew make you feel at home from the start. I'll definitely be back!

We loved to be at the Pura Vida Surf lodge, even though we couldn't sleep at the lodge. It is very easy to rent a holiday apartment next to the lodge. The People at the lodge were so nice, the Garden is beautiful and the Surf lessons were great. Would be happy to come back!

OH LA LAAA! I don't know where to start, because it is so hard to describe this wonderful place without sounding too much like a sales person ?? I have been to a few other surfcamps before and none of them was bad, but this place made me feel at home like NO other place so far. The lodge itself and the rooms are cosy, clean and made up with a lot of love to details. The staff is always present, helpful and gentle. The garden and the pool are lovely to hang out, read and chill in the sun. Group atmosphere is easy and relaxed. There's nothing you have to worry about. Equipment is in very good condition and available at anytime. Surf lessons are well organized and of high quality. Food is delicious and part of it even homemade. Very familiar atmosphere, no pressure, just pura vida. ONLY minus is the wifi, which was not working very good the time I have been there (but you won't necessarily need it there either). I highly recommend this place and I will be back, that's for sure. Thanks for this amazing week, pura vida team! Christina

Currently having a last day surf lesson after a fantastic stay at the lodge. Absolutely brilliant. I am a beginner surfer, slightly older solo traveller on this trip (my wife was otherwise busy). I was a bit nervous arriving on my own but literally within minutes I found myself in paradise. People so so so friendly. The outside honesty bar and dining is fantastic as is the food. Sven who basically organised me (despite my chaotic emails to him), his wife and the team are amazing. I have met some really great guests and found great friendships. I am currently planning my next trip down here. If you want to get off the planet and relax this is the place to do it. Great time had by all.

I spent two sunny weeks at Pura Vida Lodge: It is a little paradise near the Côte d'Argent! Great location with a wonderful garden, nice hosts, a warm welcome, tasty food, good surf lessons and other interesting activities!

Thank you for having the best time of our lives. Because of you guys... every next holiday will be a surf holiday. The lodge is the most relaxing place you can stay in Mimizan. If you want to relax, sport, have a clean accommodation and have a lot of fun, this will be the best place for you too.

Extraordinary surf lodge! If you want to have a stress free surfing vacation with nice people, good food (especially the breakfast) and an all-around relaxing atmosphere you found the right place. I already visited twice and i think it was definitely not my last stay. Until next time! And by the way, the garden does not only look so good on photos ?
