Lucky day. Morning mysore practice with Grischa Steffin, founder of #ashtangayogaberlin. It's been a long time since I come across such a wise and humble human being/ashtanga yoga teacher/father/business owner. His adjustments were precise and supportive, encouraging me to develop subtle awareness with #ahimsa. His touch was firm but not forceful, allowing space for me to let go of ego and tension. His approach was structured yet adaptable to individual bodies, reminding me to reinforce my own boundaries.
He doesn't do social media and there's very little to be found about him on the internet. I took his teacher's "master class" two months ago in Beijing and I have learned way more in Grischa's regular Mysore class than the special themed class given by Richard Freeman. Not saying that Richard isn't a great teacher, I often find the best learning happens when there's minimal expectations, just as the best experiences take place when we stop seeking. Lucky day.
