Recently visited the space and attended an evening session. Space is beautiful with a Danish flare. What ruined it for me however was the pushing and shoving of the other participants and the "first in first served" mentality. Literally got pushed putting my wooden block back, no apology. Was really hoping German rudeness and selfish behaviour would be absent in such a space, though not the case.
The yoga teacher also made it very obvious I was a foreigner and could have certainly gone about it more appropriately, rather than blurting out mid intro -"do you speak German" across the room. I freaking froze, pick a better moment. I'm there to just blend into the crowd, not think, exercise and relax. Please don't draw unnecessary attention to me in front of 25 plus people :(
If I wanted help, trust that I would have asked in advance.
I hope I don't sound arrogant but just wanted to let the other quiet, soft spoken introverts to beware.
Also, lots of talking and quick changes, I'm a bit more accustomed to a slower more spiritual feel. But hey, maybe I'm spoilt having learnt and practised in Nepal and in the art district's of Melbourne.
Maybe this is just German yoga ;)
