I feel so compelled to write a review to save other people from one of the most traumatic experiences of my life here Munich. If I could ZERO stars I would. The teachers are rude and the owner is even more offensive. The studio is unclean, the changing rooms stink of the mens toilet. I really should have left as soon as I saw these but I thought that I would stay and give them a chance. I so regret that I did. There were creepy, seedy guys hanging around that made me feel really uncomfortable. I felt really unsafe in this place. For your own safety and well being please do not go to this place. It is not worth it. I read the reviews here and thought that I would give it a go. I would say that this was the worst Yoga I have to anywhere.

A beautiful space for yoga and friendly instructors. Classes are designed to be safe but also challenging with attention to proper alignment. Most classes are in German, but instructors are helpful to English speaking students.

Waste of time, Waste of space, one of THE WORST Yoga studios I have been to. It was dirty, smelly and so unhygienic that I can not imagine how they can justify those 5 start ratings. It seems to me that they are fake ratings.

Was actually always good, but for some time much, much too crowded. At first I thought that this was a one-off error, but it's probably a system now. Someone is really squeezed into the last centimeter of space. Apparently there is no limit to participants in the courses (anymore). There is then neither enough equipment for everyone nor any freedom of movement or distance. A real shame..

Very good yoga with good and precise guidance and improvements. Especially remarkably good experience with yoga teacher Nadine Felden. We recommend! One would gladly do without the instructive opinions of Petros Haffenrichter, even if good values ​​​​are represented, and simply enjoy what he is good at and what he is very competent at: teaching yoga (certainly values ​​​​in dealing with the environment are important and are part of it, but please convey in a loving way and please do not instructively judge).

A very nice yoga studio with tasteful furnishings and a beautiful course room. Attention is paid to a holistic atmosphere and the hygiene measures are followed so that you can relax and pursue your yoga practice even during COVID-19. Great 😊👍

I often attend classes there and I particularly like Petros' teaching style. It's good that there is someone who sometimes expresses an uncomfortable opinion and reminds us of the values ​​that are important when dealing with our fellow human beings and the environment. I think that's exactly what yoga is. Nobody is forced to attend the classes 🤷🏻 ♀️Keep it up!

A super nice studio with extraordinarily good teachers and courses. Some courses have many participants, but there is always space! The renovation was very successful and the anteroom invites you to chill out.. I absolutely love coming here!

Completely overcrowded course room (at a workshop with an allegedly limited number of participants) and, in my opinion, unfriendly employees. And almost 40 euros were required for this. It's a shame because the teachers were very good and so was the room itself. No one has responded to my complaint to the studio a month ago.

I've been to quite a few yoga studios in Munich, but this is one of my favourites. The location is great and despite Prinzregentenstrasse you can usually park easily nearby. The studio itself is very bright and beautifully designed. The people are all nice and the changing rooms and showers are clean. Only minor negative is that it can be a bit noisy at times as there is an ice rink/swimming pool behind it. However, this is not always the case and can sometimes be hidden.

I feel very comfortable at Yoga am Engel - the studio was recently redesigned and offers everything you need! Clean, great teachers, nice room, relaxed atmosphere and a good schedule!

The hours with Petros are uniquely inspiring. Indeed yoga without dogma. The studio has a great atmosphere and invites you to linger. Many thanks for that!!! .... and hey, don't be fooled by the bad reviews...
