We had a very good experience at Ayurvedagram. We spent 2 weeks there being taken care by a fantastic crew. We cannot compare to other similar venues cause this was our first of such experience but we felt warm hugged. It was easy to wake up at 6 a.m. to go for a walk and then take the first yoga class at 7 a.m. ?? - we met new friends among the crew and the other guests, who were people from all over the world, experienced in Ayurveda and Yoga and/or total new comers, very kind and polite public. It is a simple and familiar place with amazing kind people working there, concentrated. Experienced yoga teachers very aware of all types of body compositions from abilities to difficulties, from healthy practitioners to people who needed more attention, from young to elderly. There are walking paths and gardens, chairs to sit in the sun. There are rescued animals: birds, dogs, cows, rabbits... Don't go expecting to be a five-star hotel because it is not. It is a collection of historical houses from Kerala, which were kept quite original. It is though very comfortable. It is on a green patch close to the city, so there will be insects and bugs like any other place in India, so there are mosquito nets on the bed, natural oils etc to make the houses very easy for us to relax after the treatments. It can get chill in the winter during the night, take a jacket for 10-15 degrees Celsius.
