Good, Peaceful and spiritual... these are the few words to describe this place. We were looking for a place to stay for 30 people and this place served well. If you are looking for a bed and shower kind of arrangement this place is good. The best part is the location in serene in the heart of Mylapore. Rooms are neatly maintained and a very reasonable cost. Pre booking is required.

This is the first time I stayed here. Very good parking facilities available. Good accommodation. Very nice food. Very clean and calm place to stay, meditation and refreshing. With good amenities and food facilities anyone can stay in. It's close to beach, light house, and railway station. It's a vast campus where you can experience the true peace of mind just letting you free from tight schedules

Nice place for any kind of workshop. I went here life skill workshop November 2019.The circumstance is very calm and naturally. It's creating a good energy. Also I got a good and memorable experience in the life skill workshop via Dhyana Ashram. This workshop was conducted by Fr. Xavier Alphonse.

It is a beautiful, well-maintained, quiet, Roman Catholic Jesuit religious institution. Used for religious retreats. Used also for religious functions. Occasionally for social seminars, etc. There are rooms for stay and a banquet hall. There is a Chapel inside the campus. There is a statue of Mother Mary which dates back to 15th century AD. The statue of St. Mother Theresa was installed recently

Dhyana Ashram is one of the few places where I can sit and pray in silence without any distractions whenever I pass by R.A Puram. A good place to organise one-day as well as stay-in retreats for both the lay people and the religious.

Dhyana Ashram or The old Madre-de-Deus Church -As the Christian population grew in Santhome, a new church was built by the Portuguese outside the Fort. This church was dedicated to Madre-de-Deus (Mother of God) and was blessed by Fr. Alessandro Valignano s.j. on September 8, 1576. The Church of Madre de Deus was rebuilt and extended to reach the Periya Palli Street, on the eastern side. There is a tradition that Roberto de Nobili came and spent his last days here (1648-1656) and lies buried “somewhere in the area.” A college was also started by the Jesuits under the patronage of the King of Vijayanagar. This was probably located at the present site of Bon Secours Convent in San Thomé’.
