you wont find any ayurved Resort as excellent as it is in terms of hospitality , care and quality. The staff is so helpful and the location itself is so calm and relaxing that you tend to feel half of your health ailment has already been cured by just visiting it. I will recommend this place to everyone and would love to revisit it soon!!

The retreat exceeded all expectations. From the moment we checked in we started to feel the peace, tranquility and relaxation. The food is especially good and has inspired us to only eat veggie during January. The accommodation is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We came here to get away from the chaos of the beach at New Years Eve and we found the peace we were looking for. The gala dinner was excellent and we will definitely be back here the next time we’re in Goa.

We had a short but lovely stay here. The site is beautiful and the food is even better. The staff were all very attentive and professional. Our therapists Lavanga and Shabreesh provided excellent treatments. Our yoga sessions were guided by Kunal who has a lovely warm energy. We would stay again!

Taking a break to rejuvenate our body , mind and soul in a Ayurveda retreat which is so scenic and serene was a wonderful decision we took. Staff is so courteous , the Ayurveda doctor Shweta was expert in her field , the therapists very good , the food was so wholesome and healthy , prepared in ayurvedic style .The F&B manger Lucas was very caring and has been with this retreat since it’s inception . Mr Godan , the chief chef also organised a live cooking class teaching healthy way of cooking . A perfect place if any body wants to have a holiday in a different way where we can rejuvenate our body , mind and soul all together . Would love to come again !!

Stayed at the rebranded Devaaya resort for 10 days and was completely set back from the hospitality and professionalism from all staff. From Reception to wait staff and masseuses. Upon arrival had a evaluation with the doctor and a plan for my stay was made. Was able to select the type of massages and doctor gave detailed plan of what to do. I was able to overcome my stress and make healthy lifestyle choices during my stay. Would Highly recommend to anyone

Its very nice location. Stay there for Ayurveda treatements and relaxing. Staff is excellent and co operative. Food is pure veg and excellent. Therapy are excellent. Not suggested for a short trip/Stay.

I was introduced to Divar Island By a friend a couple of years back, who despite our reservations as a group, insisted we see it for he knew we would fall in love with it . And sure enough....so while looking for a venue for a retreat I was organising , I chose this quaint island which also added up since the festival of Bonderam, the mini version of a Goan carnival, was happening here. A bit of a research, some calls later when I got to know about #MercureDevaayaResort, I immediately knew I had to go and see without a clue about the place including not knowing that this was an Ayurveda centre and a healing hotel on this beautiful island, so everything about it is around what will work for your body and soul. The food is freshly done and although totally vegetarian, I am yet to see a hotel prepare food with such care even in the buffet where small portions are made to avoid wastage and keeping the food fresh and delicious. The team were kind enough to understand the nuances of the retreat and assured me full support. My special thanks to Sanjay, the GM, Vinod, Kalpesh, Helen, Lucas, Antonio and the entire team. The rooms are fairly large to accommodate comfortably with a sit out with each room. About Divar Island , it’s one of the most idyllic, scenic places I have seen on this planet. No traffic, lush green spaces, mangroves, exotic birds and such a perfect space for peace and quiet.

I'm just back from a 6th stay in Devaaya, still a wonderful experience: very professional and kind massages, relaxing and healthy yoga and meditation classes, comfortable and bright rooms open to a nice view, tasty vegetarian food, warm welcome and availability, efficient doctors and detox to bring back a lot of energy. I strongly recommend this healthy and relaxing experience !

WE were looking for an Ayurvadic Resort when a friend suggested this place. I and my wife were there for 8 days and were more than happy to have chosen the place. Excellent Doctors who are open to your suggestions when prescribing treatment. Very Good therapist who give excellent Massage as prescribed. Very good vegetarian food with a lot of variety. This is a no smoking no drinking Resort. Thus total Rejevunation We had an excellent experience. Will visit again very soon.

My Family and I recently stayed at Mercure Devayaa Retreat in June 2019. It was a splendid experience. We had a thoroughly relaxing and blissful stay. The entire team went out of their way to enable us to have a smooth and tension free holiday. It was truly a customer delight, their hospitality is excellent. Keep the good work going Team! I Had a Pleasant stay. If u want to be physically fit and want peace of mind then this resort is the perfect location. All the staff served us well. We had kriya, yoga, advance yoga, meditation etc. A complete 5 Star Ayurveda Resort.

Therapeutic treatments (all types of massages), detoxification programmes, meal regimen, medical consultations, and cleansing-yoga-meditation sessions were excellently provided by young, caring, and professional therapists, doctors, and practitioners. Excellent service was also provided by hotel, restaurant, front desk, camp management, and security personnel. The premises (room and compound) were perfectly suitable for the personal purpose of the stay by being well positioned, well laid out, and well kept. All (staff, programmes, and facilities) at the Devaaya Ayurveda Center, Goa, enabled and facilitated a journey of personal discovery and marked initial steps towards an intimate commitment to personal wellbeing by following Ayurveda teachings and philosophy.

It was a beautiful place to stay and the rooms were very comfortable with the best possible view ever. There are three restaurants and one is by the river. They're all vegetarian because this is an ayurvedic resort but the food is delicious. Didn't miss or want for non-vegetarian food at all. The staff were so friendly and we had a really good stay.

The resort has breathtaking scenery and immense asthetic beauty. We were treated to peaceful yoga classes, and there were other health facilities and activities. I especially liked the landscaping and greenery of the vast resort. We also enjoyed the scrumptious food.

I stayed for one week in a Villa room. The whole place looks like a small village of small villas built in a beautiful garden around the heart of the resort were the “action” takes place. The resort is located on a small peaceful island (far from the frenzy of Goa) surrounded by rivers. Staff (restaurant, housekeeping, réception, treatment centre, yoga) was very kind, professional, efficient and helpful. The room was nice and spacious enough. Food was delicious. The swimming-pool very enjoyable, too :) Regarding the yoga and Ayurveda experience: Great yoga and meditation experience by an inspiring teacher Massages and treatments were also very useful and done by a skilled therapist Doctors were available and always keen to help Diet was amazingly efficient

We found this hotel on google and we tried to risk going without passing by Booking, we contacted directely by email the stuff and thet answered immediately. When we arrived the place and the service were much better than our expectations. All the staff was so professional and kind, doctor, therapists and yoga teachers.The location is beautifull, the food amazing. Also the swimmingpool very comfortable and clean. In one word, impeccable. Worth the money you spend. Not advisable if you are looking for fun and nightlife

You can reach heaven in this life in Devaaya Ayurvedic Retreat We came for two weeks and extended for third week. Devaaya had an enormous influence on our body as well as on our mind and soul. The resort is a beautiful ensemble of old-style Goan houses nestling in marvellous green environment. I had an enchanting little 1 room house (no. 110) with little terrace on the river, very nice (the only thing, the bathroom needs a bit renovation). My Ayurveda treatment team (Sunjay and assistant) were very kind and professional. Yoga at the river professional and very helpful! Beautiful outside pool!

I came to this place to enjoy the benefits and amenities of ayurvedic treatment. All my expectations have been fulfilled. In every aspect. I especially enjoyed twice a day the various types of massage, the excellent skilled girls did a really good job. I loved the delicious freshly made food, in the morning, noon time, and again in the evening. I joined the yoga classes given in the morning when the sun was rising (so beautiful), and a second time in the afternoon plus meditation. There was nothing I didn't like ... except the fact that the patio doors and windows in the bedrooms are not equipped with mosquito screens, thus one had to keep them shut at night. A pity! The manager should think about changing this. Finally the reception desk needs to be mentioned. The staff did its best to answer anybody's desire. The day of my departure taxis, busses, and ferries were on strike which meant that I could not leave since the resort is located on an island. But sweet and cool Mr. Bharat found a way to get me out :)

I arrived with no expectations, in need of time alone and relaxation. I got that and so much more. Mindful conversations with international guests and nationals, outstanding treatments twice a day, healthy, varied food, friendly & hospitable staff, an excellent yoga teacher whose voice soothes as he teaches the poses with a view to match, beautiful colourful Goan houses and manicured lawns and, silence! I stayed a week which was too short so I shall return for longer. Best of all? I made two friends I hope to see again! And I have a recipe for life for a healthier me! Thank you Devaaya for teaching me that vegetarian food & warm Tulsi water (and a lot more besides) is good for me!

I had the most special and amazing experience in Devaaya centre! I was received by the most polite and professional staff, starting with the manager Mr Vinod that treated me with a lot of courtesy , the yoga teacher Mr Karthik was truly inspiring , all the staff from the restaurants and of course all the staff from the Spa. I really recommend this beautiful place, the surroundings are spectacular even the atmospheric music around the resort invites you to a deeper journey!!! The treatments in the Spa/ clinic where fantastic , I wish I could have those kind of treatments here in my country. I really hope to go back very soon!!!
