The Yoga Institute Goa

No less than 5 stars for this place. It is amazingly beautiful resort in a stunning island of Goa. We were totally mesmerized with the beauty of this resort and the warm and amazing hospitality of the staff here. Though we went there in the rainy season and Goa had amazing rains, we didn't get to see a single place dirty. Amazingly neat, clean and very well maintained resort. If you ever plan a trip to Goa, do keep at least 2 days for this wonderland Viva Chorao, a resort in Chorao Island. Surprisingly a very few Goan people know about this Island, so yes, it is the best-kept secret of Goa. Luxury Cottages surrounded by the awe-inspiring splendor of natural grandeur this resort will make you a part of nature. The pictures can't really do the justice to the magnificence of this place. They don't have a restaurant and serve you the home cooked lip-smacking authentic Goan food. Chorao Island is located along the river Mandovi and is 5 KMs away from Panaji. It is also a perfect place for your Corporate Events. Our stay in Viva Chorao made the best memory of Goa <3 <3 <3 Highly Recomendded

Beautiful space. Located about a couple of Kms from the ferry point coming in from Ribander. Access here is through a steep slope which might put your vehicle to the test but once you are up there it is stunningly beautiful. I would recommend spending a couple of days there in the cottages. They are basic and thoughtfully done. Everything is clean and well maintained. They have a playground for children with swings, a seesaw, merry-go-round , xo's etc. Further is the gorgeous infinity pool placed next to a common area where the TV and music system is placed. There is also a beverage counter where drinks are served from located under an elevated deck that offers a panoramic view of Chorao and it's surroundings. They also have party and wedding hosting space and a buffet area that is an elevated structure that seems to float between the trees. A must visit.

What an abode of tranquility and peace amidst the richness of nature! We spent a wonderful healthy weekend here at the Yoga institute, with mindful yoga sessions, sattvik tasty food, friendly staff who ensured that we felt at home and welcomed right from the start! My 10 year old nephew was thrilled with the awesome swimming pool! Highly recommend this place for nature and yoga lovers, seekers of peace and calm, and and anyone who needs a healthy break! The yoga institute goa, Can be called as a paradise on Chorao island.A very calm and peaceful place ,with breath taking views. The instructors are infused with a lot of energy and the staff very warm and friendly. The welcome drink to the refreshment and The SATVIK Food served was delightful. A total mind and body awakening call.

This place rocks!!! Viva Chorao is a fantastic destination for a tranquil weekend getaway to Goa. There are also incredible activities to do, such as crab catching, trekking and a boat ride around the Island. It‘s also a great venue for a destination wedding. Need to visit again during the monsoons to fully take in the gorgeous panoramic view.

From Yaqin Chen——it was a 100% correct decision for me to join the 200h teacher training course in the yoga institute of Goa.The whole journey was just wonderful,perfect! While doing the course, I knew more and more about yoga everyday.The course is quite interesting with lots of knowledge about yoga philosophy,anatomy,teaching skills, public speaking, details of all the yoga postures,stress management, healthy yogic diet,etc. All the teachers are professional, patient and really helpful. All the bath mates are unique, friendly and with great passion. We stayed there like a family, helped each other for the knowledge of yoga as well as things in life. The place was very beautiful and peaceful in a small island like a paradise somewhere in the world. Actually I haven’t planned to be a yoga teacher, but what I learnt from here gave me the possibility to teach someone. And the most important thing I learnt from here is that, yoga is not just physical exercise but a way of living, how you take care of your body, how you think about things, how you treat people around you.......After left the school, I realized what Rohan Ji said is so true, the real exam will start when you leave the institute and back to reality. Yes, I will try my best to carry on the knowledge, discipline, mindfulness which I learned from here to my whole life. And for those who are considering choose a place to learn deeper of yoga, I will highly recommend this place, it will definitely be a right choice.
