I really loved this best. This is one of the boggest place in INDIA for practicing and learning yoga, chanting and other things for spiritual life. This is spread in large area in munger district. Many departments are there fir different types of activities and yoga. Many Foreigners and Indians come here for yoga learning and meditation.

I have wandered through many yogic trainings like Guru Vivekananda, Yogananda Paramahansa, Shivananda swami, Sri Sri Ravishankar, Guru Satyananda Paramhansa....Even practised Ramdev. I must say there is no match of Raj, hath, and Kriya Yog practises disclosed by Swami Satyanand at Bihar School of Yoga. Many of his tranings appear to be smuggled by many high profile gurus and Baba's like remix songs with new labels...Including much famed Sudarshan kriya. For Raj and Hatha Yoga both, there is no better Guru than Swami Satya nanda ji, for way of life including meditation, there is no Guru better than Vivekanand, and for Gita and Kriya yog, there is no 1 better than Yoga nanda. Thereafter you don't need to wander and listen to any baba guru swami etc. Yet, I find young Yogi Nityanand as emerging yog guru with promise and far superior than Sri Sri and Ramdev etc.

Now I m x -student over there . I was so lucky that I Completeled cours over there. Again I want to go for Shave . I want to try to leave my job for 1 month .want to go and do shave to ashram . It's amazing place. It's a totally positive environment . It's best place for me.

Famous place but it has no contribution to the common people of Munger. It neither run an awareness program nor it organises yoga camp for local people. Munger doesn't have a good hospital and Yogashram can come forward and make it possible by creating a world class hospital for humanity.

It's a place hard to describe and very controversial in its nature. Ganga Darshan is a typical Indian ashram with strict routine and especially for visitors from outside India not used to such a life probably quite challenging. It will confront you immediately with the deepest parts of your Self, mostly in a not too pleasant way. The main focus is on Karma-Yoga, which means that you mainly have to do some more or less insightful work. The way people deal with each other is often very harsh and does not appear neither very friendly nor spiritually much advanced, besides that you can meet lovely people indeed. The strong focus on Satyananda bears the risk of becoming dependent or even a kind of brainwashed, because even if not physically alive, he is present at every corner. Especially after the accusations of sexual abuse done by Swami Satyananda and probably others as well, their attitude and way of life is a bit more than only ambiguous. If you have no difficulties in accepting everything without any contradiction, you may feel comfortable at this place and if you can accept hard work with simple, not very nutrious food as an exchange, it would be even better. But don't loose using your common sense for not getting lost in nothingness.
