I stayed with 8 other people here with kids over a weekend trip in this homestay. Locality is awesome: very green, peaceful
Bunglow is good and spacious. Amenities like hot water, furnished kitchen with fridge
Rooms are reasonably sized, well ventilated. Environment is homely. You get terrace as well. Caretaker is polite.
However, rest rooms is an area of concern. They are clean, well built, but they have leaking taps, pipes, doors not closing from inside unless you lift them hard and apply tactics. Mattress wasn't properly given: mattress was 12" narrower than the bed in one of the rooms.
It didn't look like caretaker was much interested in fixing those things: in fact bringing the issues to his attention attracted a bit of irritation. We did inform him as message at the time of booking on makemytrip homestay that we are totally 9 people. And we also spoke over phone that we might need extra bed/mattress. He didn't promise to give it earlier and on arrival also we didn't get it.
Overall this place is nice. Good for the price. If the rest rooms are better maintained and bed & mattress are better in all rooms, I would give it 5 stars.
