The Colonel's Retreat

Passing back and fore through Delhi on our Indian trip, it has been a little home from home. No airs and graces, just good clean well equipped rooms and staff who understand and attend to all your needs. For example, printing boarding passes; no problem. There is a pc and printer on every floor. Enjoy a tea or something stronger on the rooftop and watch the kites riding the thermals.

Friendly wonderful service. Elmo was suffering severe back pain and the owner sent us to the chemist who knew just how to help . Rooms are very comfortable with plenty of space to roam. Food is good. A very nice place to stay

Leaving today after staying at this great hotel for 2 days. Nice well equipped rooms, really lovely restaurant serving tasty food on the rooftop where you meet fellow travelers and chat about your day. The owners are really friendly too. A great experience.

Great place to stay in Delhi. Friendly staff, comfortable home style atmosphere. Just spoke to the owner, manager Arun. He patiently listened to how much I love this place, asked if I'd be willing to share that in public. Why not, my first review in the hospitality industry; don't hold your breath for the next one ??
