Himalayan Orchard Yoga Meditation and Art Centre

loved the place amidst an apple orchard and a few minutes away the forest trails. If you are looking for a place of solitude, meditation , this is your place. The library has amazing collection of books and perfect place for a reader and writers retreat. Poetry is just around you, the moving cotton clouds, the green carpet and the chirping birds. Well, it is a place to unwind. Overall, go for a longer period to enjoy it.

Have fabulous memories of this quaint and serene homestay with gracious and very caring hosts. Went for a solo trip in 2019 and I have to say its one of my best.

This place is everything you want for a perfect vacation. The moment you enter you can clearly see the passion and effort the hosts put in for your stay.While you are at the property you can also go for the cheese making course they offer. They grow their own food, make their own wine , bake their sour dough to perfection and brew their own beer. While you are there you can also enjoy the varieties of flowers and vegetables they grow....Artichokes and raspberries surprised me the most.Devanshe and Mike are great musicians to top it all....one plays the piano and the other is an amazing guitarist.The cherry on the cake is the yoga studio they are coming up with. Everything you want in a perfect vacation is here!! Eagerly waiting for my next visit!!

I cannot wait for this pandemic to be over so I can travel again, and I know exactly where I want to go :) Himalayan Orchards of course!! It's been a hot minute since I was there last and that experience was surreal. With the delicious food, clear blue skies, and that mountain air ... I'm hoping to join a yoga workshop in their beautiful - hand-built - brand new yoga studio.

Lovely experience! With three comfortable rooms, the farm has a homely charm, strewn as it is with customized decor comprising unique paintings, family photographs, books and board games.

Himalayan Orchard Farmstay 🏡 is not just an estate open for stay, it's also an artwork. While Devanshi is busy making the guests comfortable and doing all the household chores personally by herself, to make sure she gets it the way she wants, Michael add-ons to the already existing artistic ambiance. Devanshi and Michael have a collection of close to a thousand odd book from all over the world, all gathered during their stay and Japan, UK and all over, and they have engaging stories to fill your evenings truly eventfully. Michael has his own inhouse apple cider extraction prototype, truly a milange of science, engineering and artwork. The yoga hut Michael is halfway through is going to come up as an marterpiece and a perfect marriage of Technology and Tradition. I wish them all the best and thank you for making the happen. A beautiful orchard homestay nested away from the concrete jungle run by the most beautiful family. If you want to learn about the locals, their ways of living the local ways of living and discuss the cultural heritage and traditions and food of Himachal (in particular dist Shimla) over a glass of self fermented beer or a cup of freshly brewed coffee, then Himalayan orchard is the place for you. The orchard offers great views, a peak into Himachali village life, a perfect work far from home destination while still being sustainable and sensitive towards the needs of the planet and its other inhabitants. I would highly recommend a stay here if for nothing else then the most heart warming conversations with Devanshee and Mike

Heavenly place to stay stayed there the couple running it are just a pleasure to deal with and the food they make is delicious trying to get back there but have not gotten a chance

Driving up from Reoghati road, the tarmac is fairly bumpy, but what you see from your car windows is unlike any other vista in all of Shimla. The slopes get steeper and more diverse in vegetation, less disturbed by human activity. The orchard property assimilates beautifully into this landscape. Currently fruiting, the persimmon and lemon trees are on the top level, also the location of a temple and small pond. Each building on the campus is tastefully decorated with Indian arts and handicrafts. Further down the slope, a library with a balcony offers unobstructed views of the valley. You might eat lunch with squash and kidney beans grown right on the farm, or try some micro-brewery beer also made on campus. The opportunity to stay here should not be missed.
