The place is very relaxing and a good break from a busy schedule however it is not a place that you would go to for treatment of an ailment. I checked in for uterine fibroids and was told that a gynecologist was available and that I would be provided with the required treatment to shrink the fibroids. I stayed in the Centre for 28days and had a list of treatments that I went through along with medicines however, neither the in-house doctors nor the specialist that visited once a week, that I was seen by, was a gynecologist so the treatments and medication that I had there was general. After my 28days there, I was told to continue the meds for a month after which I was to take a scan of my uterus. I followed through with the medication and diet but unfortunately, my fibroids r still very much there with no improvement at all. I have 5 fibroids, 4 of which r 2 cms and are easy to work with through Ayurvedic treatments provided that u have the correct and appropriate treatment but all 4 of my fibroids r exactly the same size and the 5th one which was 5 cms is now a little bigger.
My overall experience in this centre was pleasant and relaxing however it is definitely not the place if you have gynecological situations. There r good Ayurvedic gynecologists available in Kerala, u just need to inquire more before rushing to a place that you know nothing about. I have learnt the hard way.
