The floating cottage was an amazing experience, proper precautions were taken which gives good confidence and assures safety, the food was also good and really loved the overall experience and was a much deserved break during this pandemic

We visited resort after the lockdown. The hospitality and ambiance are really great. The staffs and resort management people following all safety precautions. I recommended everyone for a nice and safe stay.

Don't lock down yourself,which did not help any way. Come out and see the world following the basic protocol. Poovar island is an excellent example, who follow Covid protocol without compromising luxurious comfort. Thanks to the management who upgraded superior cottage to a premium one. Would like visit once again soon.

Excellent, After covid19 opening 1st day we stay there. Staff behavior ver nice. Food quality fine, variety minimum, because 1st day, Safety measures very good. Nobody can enter room, our visit also restricted as per government norms. Sanitizer every places saw, mask compulsory for gust and all staffs wear mask and hand gloves.

This place was a highly recommend place by my friend and I must say I totally agree.... Grt resort beautiful ambiance.... Scenic place .... Grt facility u name it and they have it .... swimming pool ..yoga center. ..bar .... Activity center with team building activity and lots of games for kids ..... We stayed in floating cottage it's is amazing ?????? very well maintained place ..... Hatsoff to the staff and management. Very kind and helpful staff.... My daughter forgot her mobile at the room and v had checked out the place .... I called Mr. Rex ..from sales team and informed him that he can keep it safe I will see what best arrangements I can make to get it later to my surprise Rex immediately spoke to our cab driver and made some arrangements where v got the phone and v did not get to miss our train back to bangalore. I have traveled quite a bit but never got this experience from other place .... 5star to the staff and management

We travelled as a Couple in Feb20. We stayed for 01 nite and had booked the floating cottage. The property is beautiful, quite and huge with quite a few activities. Staff are courteous. The view from the cottage is amazing. Would like to make a mention of a few People who made our stay special. Mr.Babu recieved us upon arrival and also helped us at departure......very polite efficient and warm. Mr.Sajayan at the restaurant was extremely kind and took care of our special requests. I had wished to have banana fritters for high tea. It was not on the menu that day. However he ensured that it was specially made for me......this kind of service needs a special mention. Mr,Santosh at the restaurant also was very kind. A very special mention of the Chief Chef Mr.Ravi Kumar. I had casually made a request for banana flower cutlets. All these are kerala cuisine specialities and so i wished to try them. He asked us what time will you come for dinner. to my pleasant and utter surprise when we reached the dining hall at 8.30pm we were served with hot banana flower cutlets.......unmatchable taste.......something you wish you could keep on eating. It is this kind of service that stands apart and makes a property worthy of a memorable stay. Thank You Team.

Excellent place to enjoy with family.In the middle of backwaters an island that is full of facility, play area for kids, yoga center and lots of activities to do. Lovely time spend here at poovar island resort.

We have just recently returned after a delightful very relaxing 2 week stay nothing was too much trouble from sorting our trips,if we didn’t like the food they cooked something else for us towels on the sun beds and drinks delivered on request every member of staff was very helpful and pleasant once again a lovely stay

Serene and peaceful visit. Not many guests around, so the sound of the birds and cicadas can be clearly heard at night. The boat trip along the backwaters was an enjoyable experience. Missed the trip to the beach, which was a highlight of our last trip to Poovar. The floating cottages are quite special.

Excellent resort. Spread on a 25 acre property, it has got 16 floating cottages and a greater number of land cottages. The floating cottages are on the backwaters, facing the backside of Poovar beach, beyond which lies the Arabian Sea. Excellent amenities to spend time like Swimming pool, activity centre with multiple games, yoga centre, Ayurvedic massage centre with hospital, 4 different restaurants including Kappa, seaside restro cum bar etc. A gift n souvenir shop is there at the reception. We received a warm welcome from the manager Mr Dinesh. Food was good. The gardens are full of flora and fauna. There is also an Ayurvedic village, for people who come to primarily take Ayurvedic therapies. In one world, when you are in Poovar island resort, you dont need to go out of the resort, cos as they say, "Its out of the World".

This resort is very good place to visit with your family. Good place near seashore. You can visit this resort at anytime. The staff are cooperative and helpful. The restaurant is nice. The staff are very helpful.

It is the best resort suitable for family , big swimming pool for family and very nice cottages are there, for long holidays one should definitely come here . Too many activities for kids , bicycle also available ,very good property.

I have good experience with poovar island resort today from check inn and expecting good stay as well.Restorent have a good swimming pool fecility with kids swimming area. Had a lunch in restorent and it was fantastic.

To get to the resort we took a short 10min boat trip from the jetty. The place boasts a warm pool and nice cozy rooms. The restaurant served good food and had decent service. Staff were very friendly and professional.
