Unforgettable experience! The Location is perfect, beautiful beach and quiet area, the Main tourist area is like 20 minutes by walk. And the best juice shack Lotus directly on the Beach with the nicest owners and best fruit shakes . The food in the school is great. I loved it. It’s of course local indian food, but he tries to accommodate all wishes for the students, less spicy, more that, less this. The accommodation is ok, here is room for improvement. The rooms are basic, which is totally ok, as you will be only sleeping there, but they could be cleaner! The course was great, i learned a lot, all teachers are wonderful, knowledgeable and experienced. Great Time and great people!

If you are looking for a TTC by a peaceful beach, good healthy food and an experienced teacher this is it! Focused on the practical knowledge needed to teach, without overloading you with knowledge. I had a great experience!

Rama school of yoga is a great school to learn more and deepen out your yoga practise! I found the location really really beautiful. Super natural, calm, really beautiful beaches and such a nice yoga hall. While you practise you feel the wind hear the waves breaking sometimes dolphins pass by, a amazing place! The teachers are great! They make you go beyond what you think is possible you can do! Really good structured lessons and Rama's help is just incredibly good! Delicious healthy food three times a day. Accommodation is nice too good rooms and beds nice bathroom and a balcony everything you need! I would recommend this course to anybody it's a great experience! I definitely will come back one day, I had such a great time and experience there!

I just come back from my course...It was such an amazing experience. The course is very very well prepared, great methodology, interesting classes, attention to the details, very good teachers. I really learn a lot!!! The staff is very friendly, good food, place just next to the ocean.We could hear the sound of waves all day long!! The location is very safe and beautiful! Rama’s school of yoga is one of those places that you find hard to leave - i am saying this after attending a 200 hours TTC . The location is incredible: you can hear the waves of the ocean in your room! The staff were kind and always ready to help, they cook amazing indian dishes of which plenty is provided. I feel thankful for all the wisdom the teachers shared with us in the fields of philosophy and anatomy, and that they made these topics easy to understand. Ramarajan himself is a friendly and helpful person, he has a strict teaching style and great knowledge. I traveled here as a single female and felt safe. i am really grateful for every moment of the course. namaste!

Yogis out there, if you are looking for a really nice opportunity to go deeper into your Hatha and Ashtanga practice, this place is the right choice for you! Rama’s adjustments and teaching knowledge is wide. Location is calm with high chances to watch dolphins during the lunch time and the food is good. �

My Mother and I had a wonderful week with Rama and enjoyed the tranquil beautiful location. We also did the Ayurvedic retreat package, but the location and yoga was so lovely I didn't even need the massages to relax. As I have been practising yoga for a long time and wanted to learn more, Rama kindly invited me to join in a few of the teacher training classes and I could really tell that everyone, as well as himself were amazing genuine practitioners. There was a lot of Yoga in Varkala, but with Rama I really felt like I had come to a great teacher who was professional and a true Yogi. I am very grateful to Ramaraj for giving an opportunity to be a student of TTC 200 hours course at his school. Everything was on the very good level. Accommodation, food, lessons were awesome. All teachers are very experienced and nice people. The location - is just a dream: 50 meters from the ocean. It was a month full of knowledge about yoga and myself. Ramaraj has been teaching me yoga on the cliff at Varkala and the teaching has been very good. His instructions are clear and adjustments are thoughtful and helpful. Always staying with the breath and finding space in each posture, leaving me feeling peaceful and open at the end of every class.

I spent a month at Rama School of Yoga for a 200 hours TTC Ashtanga Vinyassa. The location of the school is just a dream, it’s perfect, front of the ocean, in a quiet area of Varkala. From the rooms you can hear the sound of the ocean. The food is local and so good, the staff is very nice. Yoga hall is made with naturals materials and the atmosphere very peaceful. The teachers are highly qualified and always there to help you. I really enjoyed their class and I learned so many things in a month. I’ll come back for sure. Namasté.
