where to start? the people! never experienced such an open minded space! chilling with a family of guests! you find your vibrant exchange with others as well as your deserved holiday peace! good vibes! not to forget about the omg food & the surf instructors preparing the wave for you beginner making you feel like almost a pro! :) and all in an eco-spirit! thanks so much for that!

Hi! I stayed in the Chillhouse for 4 nights at the end of September and it was brilliant! I had been told that Canggu was quite rural and was a little anxious upon arrival but my fears were unfounded, the whole experience was fab. The surf lessons were great, staff very friendly and the food is amazing! Did a great yoga class which included headstands, had acupuncture from the lovely Christina and generally just unwound! The accommodation was the most generous I experienced throughout my stay in Indonesia and provided plenty of shade which was useful during the very hottest part of the day. I fully intend to return at some point in the future!

I had an amazing stay at The Chillhouse. It was like a great big family, with friendly helpful staff and owners that made an effort to know my name and talk to me. Incredible value, fabulous food, accommodating to all my needs, and a super chilled out vibe, that, if I have any complaints, made it very difficult to leave.

2 of my friends and I stayed for 7 nights at the chillhouse last week and i cannot rate them highly enough! We had such an amazing time the place has an awesome feel to it, the staff are so friendly and happily sort out whatever u need, surf instructors are awesome (everyone in our group had heaps of fun an really improved by the end of the week). We stayed in the gerry lopez room which i would definately suggest booking if u are a couple or 3 friends it has 3 levels (private outdoor bathroom, main room with beds and then a covered observation / chillout deck which we loved) but im sure the other rooms are good too. The only thing was 1 week wasnt long enough an we didnt want to leave :) we will definately be going back thanks chillhouse :)

This place is magical. Rooms, pool and hotel grounds are beautiful & clean, included yoga is great, food is delicious & healthy, surf instructors booked through the reception are great and people here, both staff and other guests, make this feel like travelling with your best friends even as a solo traveller.

We were disappointed with The Chillhouse. The vibes from guests are great but the room we had was musty, in need of some love and a real let down when compared to pictures, it was also a hangout for mossies, lots of them. Reception staff were unhelpful, especially in comparison to the lovely people we were lucky to encounter in Bali. On the plus side kitchen staff were lovely, the dinners were great and the pool area is lovely.

So in love with this place, that I come back every year <3. Great food, perfect vibes and great staff - especially the guys working in the restaurant are so friendly and funny. I don't surf or bike, neither I do yoga, but the Chillhouse is my favourite place anyway. Nowhere else I can relax and be myself like there :-). Thanks!
